Hey all! I have to lose 16 lbs before my pageant. I do awesome during the day but go overboard at night. I have learned that, for now, I have to eat something before bed. Then when I get closer to my competition, I'll nix the 6th meal. I have 78 days until my competition and I have found that my optimal 6th meal is protein mixed with 1/2 cup oats. This meal is the only thing that keeps me from eating too much at night. Yet, so many people have said that if I eat carbs before bed, it'll be stored as fat. Can someone help me out with this?

Old bodybuilding myth. Eat the oats if they fit into your daily totals

Why are you wary?? Carbs don't make you fat..overeating does.

I just ate a bowl of hot brown rice with raspberries & blackberries, sprinkled with flaxseed & sunflower seed. Yum!
