I am looking for a power rack to train per the Starting Strength training regime.
I am considering purchasing either a Body Solid PPR200X or a TDS C-92563. The Body Solid power rack looks pretty barebones whereas the TDS looks sturdier.
The best deal I see on the PPR200X is 289 + freight.
The best deal on the TDS rack is 329 + freight. (NYBB)
The freight on the PPR200X is about half the cost of the TDS rack.
Does anyone know the spacing between holes on the PPR200X? I believe the TDS rack holes are spaced 2" apart.
I have read that the PPR200X has spring loaded pins that you have to pull out before you can remove the bar. Does the TDS rack have any quirks like this that I should be aware of?
I am leaning towards the TDS rack. Does anyone know of a better deal anywhere for these racks besides New York Bar Bell?
