Hello everyone...(was just curious on responses...I mentioned this in one of my forum responses and it's something I do ask people in person so I thought I'd ask you guys...)

I usually ask people (especially my clients) to get a feel for what type of exercises they like by asking them, "if you could take home one exercise equipment free of charge without regard to the size of it and whether it would fit in your house which machine or apparatus would that be?"

I figure people would either want to take home the machine or apparatus they use most often or not enough to work on it.

So tell me why too in your response?

In the past I always said I'd just take one of those total gym pull up bar, dip machine, and push up station (the 3 in one thing where you could also do lower abs) but since legs are my weak point I would take a leg press machine and work on that EVERYDAY even before I left to go to the gym. 3 sets of 15-20 why not?

This is what I had in my house as a teenager and I would love this in my house BUT I do this too often at the gym. I lack in the legs so a leg press machine because I need it.

Remember to include why in your response? Is it something you work on a lot or something you need to work on and you don't touch on it enough in the gym during your workouts?

so instead of taking home the squat rack or power rack, you would chose the leg press.... that could explain your lacking legs...

^^^ Zing.

1 piece would have to be a bumper set. Can't do much with a rack and no bar.

With just a barbell set you have an excellent array exercises available. Without a bench you could still do weighted push ups, then rig some DIY plyo boxes as squat stands.

Also-rans: Concept II Rower, Dumbells 5-150

Literally just one piece I would say like the powertec multi leverage gym or something like it, assuming I could include plates.

TPAYNTER, but I rather take home a leg press machine because it's safer. The squat rack I don't mess with that machine too much when I don't have a spot. But very good point.

WOW that's a machine right there. No having to explain that one. That's a very good choice of equipment to take home with ya : )
