Recently I noticed I'm starting to have a problem with body fat, so i'd like to control it and fix it before it gets worst. It seems like I'm becoming "skinny fat", and assuming I have a high body fat %.
I'm 21 years old, 5ft 4inch tall, 98lbs ( I bounce between 94-98lbs). My wrist, arms, etc are skinny. My trouble areas seem to be from my navel, thighs and upper legs.
My navel area measures at 30inchs, but I wear a 25 waist jeans.
According to fitness pal, based on my weight and height, age. I should have a 1200 Calorie diet with 40g fat(13 being saturated), 165 carbs, and 24 sugars.
Does the diet outline above seem about right?
I've been working out of town alot recently in an office setting with no gym around, going to the gym isn't an option at the moment. But willing to do any works outs I can from home for the time being.
Where can I start as to eating proper? working out at home (for now), are there any supplements, vitamins, or protein shakes that I can take to also help me?
i'm looking to cut the extra bodyfat in my trouble areas, and do some toning in my ab area as well as time progresses.
I'm new to this and looking for a direction to start in as a first step, Any input would be greatly appreciated.
