Today I received my Millennium Sports Technology Package and I must say I am really excited to get started. These supplement seem to be tailored to suit my type of training to a T. High intensity/ High Endurance. I would like to thank Spaceclown and Matt for the opportunity to test these products.
I will be running a High intensity training routine focusing on muscular endurance, cardio endurance, and muscular strength. I will be sticking to a higher strict rep range 10-15+, but some days I do like to lift a little heavy. I plan on using this stack for the recommended 40 days and will be basing final results on a comparison to my rep max using 135 lbs on bench, squats, and deadlifts at the begining of stack and my 135 lb rep max in those same exersizes at end of the stack. I will also be looking at how much time I can drop off a 2 mile run.
I will be trying to log on a daily basis and will be including my thoughts on the supplement effects, workouts for the day, and diet.
I am planning on starting this stack on Feb. 6, 2007. I am currently finishing a cutting cycle on Monday using Fyre which I have been logging: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=1048101

Background:
I was allways lean (skinny) when I was in High School 1992-1996. When I graduated I weighed about 160 and had maybe 14% bf. I enlisted in the Army out of High School and became serious with physical training. Lots of running, calisthenics and lifting weights. Its the Army what do you exspect. That was from 1997-2001. My weight was around 175 and maybe 14% bf. After my enlistment I left active duty but stayed in the Army Reserves and went to college. I got very serious with weight lifting during this time and got away from running and cardio. I thought I had run enough in the Army to last a lifetime. This was between 2001-2005. I weighed 215 lbs and I was at maybe 16% bf. Within the last few years I got a full time desk job and got away from living healthy. I gained a little weight and got out of shape until I decided Enough!!! So on January 1, 2007 I decided to get back on track. I am just coming off a 30 day high intensity lift routine with lots of cardio. On this stack I am keeping my routine very similar to the first 30 days (High Intensity/ High Reps + Cardio) but I am coming off the Fyre and starting Carnage and Cordygen 5.

Other Supplements:
Whey Protien
Multi Vitamin
BCAA
Fish Oil

Subbed! You're testing the same stack as me. If you havent used C5 before, you're going to love it and BA has great research behind it.

Today I set the standard on my bench press, squats, and dead lifts.

Bench Press:
135x30
Squats:
135x25
Dead Lift:
135x20

These are my rep maxes that I will be comparing to at the end of the stack.

I am going to be starting the stack in a few days. I finished my fat burning supplement today and want to give my body a few days before starting Carnage and Cordygen 5.

I hope you take a quantitative approach towards your cardiovascular activities. I want to know how much longer you are running whilie on this stack, as well as any other positive effects(lactic acid, cramps, etc.)

I am starting the stack tommorow and I can't wait! Just in time too tommorow is 4 mile run day in the A.M. and back & traps in the P.M. I plan on pushing myself as hard as I can each training session so lets see what this Carnage Stack is all about!!!

Take the 3 Cordygen about 45 minutes before the run. This seemed to be about what most people have found to be best.

Wow, where have I been? Subbed! Great start to your log.

C5 45-60 minutes pre endurance/workout/cardio seems to be best for most like SC mentioned.

Thoughts
Today was day 1 of the Carnage Cordygen 5 stack. I woke up and ran a few miles after taking 3 Carnage and a Codygen 5. The run felt really good. I was able to keep a pretty fast pace without running out of gas. This is especially good since I did a pretty intense leg workout last night. Usually my legs are super tight after leg day but not to bad today. Not to sure how much the new supplements contributed.
Took 3 more carnage and a Cordygen 5 and did a high volume back workout this evening. Workout felt ok. I was definately feeling stiff during cardio warm up from leg day yesterday. Did not feel any major effects from the new supplements.

Workout 1
3.5 mile run

Workout 2
Cardio:
25 min bike
Back:
3x8 Pull Ups
4x12 Lat Pull Down
4x15 Cable Row
4x12 Bent Over row
4x10 High Pull
3x10 Soulder Shrugs
50 Crunches
50 Leg Raises

Thoughts

Had class this morning so I only did my evening workout. Took my Carnage and Cordygen5 in the A.M. and before my evening workout.
Tonight I hit 40 min of cardio and a high volume arm workout. The cardio went about the same as usual. Legs were feeling a little tight. My ogygen utilization was ok. The arm workout went really well. I was able to knock out alot of reps and still felt good at the end. I would say maybe a slight increase in recovery between sets.

Workout
Cardio:
20min bike
20min run
Arms
4x12 EZ Bar Curl
4x12 Close Grip BP
4x12 DB Curls
4x12 Tricep Rope Press
3x10 DB Preacher Curl

Thoughts:
I have not logged in a few days but here is a catch up post. I took the weekend off from lifting but have been consistant with cardio. I think that my runs are starting to get a little better on the stack. I still need to increase my pace but I am doing some sprint/walk intervals to improve speed.

Friday
Off day
3 Carnage and 1 Cordygen 5 in the A.M.
3 Carnage and 1 Cordygen 5 in the P.M.

Saturday
Ran 3 miles. Run felt o.k. I pushed the pace pretty good.
3 Carnage and 1 Cordygen 5 30 min before run
3 Carnage and1 Cordygen 5 in the P.M.

Sunday
Ran a slow 2 miles (pacing someone for their PT test)
3 Carnage and 1 Cordygen 5 30 min before run
3 Carnage and 1 Cordygen 5 in the P.M.

Thoughts:
This morning I went on a realy long run and lifted chest and shoulders in the evening. My air felt really good on the run. Legs were not wanting to keep a really fast pace throughout. I did speed intervals the last mile. The evening workout felt ok. I had a decent intensity. So far I do not think the stack is contributing a whole lot to my lifting routine. I do think my areobic endurance is increasing though. I have not felt any side effects from supplements.

Workout 1
Cardio
4.5 mile run with sprint intervals last mile

Workout 2
Cardio
Bike 10 min
Chest and Shoulders
4x11 Bench Press
4x10 Incline Bench Press
4x10 Cable Cross Overs
4x10 Dumb Bell Flys
4x12 Military Press
3x12 Dumb Bell Lateral Raises
3x12 Dumb Bell Front Raises
3x12 Dumb Bell Rear Raises

For me the C5/Carnage is excellent for endurance. C5 in the gym allows me to decrease rest times but not necessarily lift heavier. Carnage also is going to help with endurance and you should see some strength increases as well. Keep up the good work Sarge.

THOUGHTS:
Today I did an intense 20 min run followed by 20 min of push ups, sit ups, and calisthenics. I pushed the pace on the run and kept my heart rate up during calisthenics. I guess it felt ok as far as cardio goes. Tonight is leg night I am planning on doing a intense high volume workout to try to build my leg endurance up. I am thinking that I may want to up my dosage slightly in the near future. I am 210 lbs so the recommended dosage may be slightly low for me. Spaceclown you can comment on that if you read this post. If I do increase dosage though I am not sure if I will have enough to run the full 40 days.

Workout 1:
Cardio
20 min run
20 min Push-ups, Sit-ups, Calisthenics

Workout 2:
Cardio
10 min elliptical warm up
Legs
4x12 Squats
4x12 Dead Lifts
4x12 Leg Press
Superset
3x12 Leg Curls
3x12 Reverse Leg Curls
4x15 Calf Raises

Instead of upping the dosage try taking all three Cordygen5 60 minutes pror to your run. I think you'll notice a big difference.

DS Looney
02-13-2007, 06:41 PM
I am going to be taking Millennium 1's advice and taking my full dosage of Cordygen5 in the A.M. before cardio. I am going to stick to doing my intense cardio in the A.M. and most of my lifting in the P.M. After this log is complete I may look at taking Carnage/Cordygen5 in A.M. before Cardio and Ragnarok/Citruvol in the P.M. before lifting. I think this could be the best all around cardio/lifting stack.

As Mill 1 said a single full dosage of C5 is recommended. I take it 45 minutes pre but others take it 60 min. Just play around to find the sweet spot for you. Rok/Citruvol is a great stack and you can tear up some **** in the gym.

DS Looney
02-14-2007, 02:38 PM
Millennium and Spaceclown... What would you say is a better stack for intense weight lifting and resistance training. Ragnarok/Citruvol or Kreacaps/Citruvol. It seems like the Rok might have a slight advantage over the Krecaps with its added ingredients. But the caps seem like they may have their place to. Please feel free to comment on the two stacks. Us loggers would appreciate your oppinion.

This morning I took the full dosage of C5 and Carnage 45 min before cardio. I believe Millennium 1 and Space Clown were right. This time I think I could feel more of a difference. I am going to stick to taking dosage all in the A.M. before cardio. In the evening when I lift I am going to maybe start using a NO product with creatine. I think the Carnage and Cordygen5 are best to use before long cardio sessions and that they are not as good as other products for intense lifting.

Workout 1:
Cardio:
40 min elliptical (Last night was leg night so I did not run today)

Workout 2:
Cardio
15 min bike warm up
Back and Traps
4x12 T Bar Row
4x12 Lat Pull Down
4x10 Bent Over Row
4x12 High Pull
4x12 Shoulder Shrugs

Really I think its dependant on your personal needs.

Ragnarok is a complete all in one, caffeinated, powder based product.
Kreaceps is a pill based, non-stimulant product that allows your own flexibilty to add other ingredients. Citruvol and Carnage can be stacked with both.

THOUGHTS:
Today I took my dosage of C5 and Carnage and did a 5 mile road march in the A.M. and hit an intense arm workout in the P.M. I have discovered a awsome new workout that I tried tonight. It is a MMA workout created by Ken Yasuda that I modified. Go to: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/kenyasuda.htm for details. It is based on giant sets with high reps. Example:
Barbell Curls 30 reps
Barbell Presses 30 reps
Bent over rows 30 reps
Barbell Curls 30 reps
Barbell Presses 30 reps
Bent over rows 30 reps
*No rest between exercises
*Rest for 1 minute and repeat.
I have altered it and am repeating 2 giant sets of the same body part. His routine you would go into another giant set for a different body part. Let me tell you this is a smoker. Maybe not for putting on mass or increasing strength. But definately for cutting and getting in shape. I am going to stick with this type of routine for a little while and see what kind of results I get.

Workout 1:
Cardio:
5 mile road march

Workout 2:
Cardio:
20 min elliptical
Arms:
Barbell Curls 30 reps
Skull Crushers 30 reps
DB Curls 30 Reps
Rest 1 min
Rope Press Down 30 reps
Preacher Curls 30 reps
Tricep Kick Back 30 reps
Rest 1 min
Repeat 2 more times

THOUGHTS:
Today I woke up feeling not quite 100%. Not sick or anything just felt a little off. I took my C5 and Carnage and 20 min later went for a 2.5 mile run. I should have waited 45 minutes instead of 20 before running but I was pressed for time. Anyway after that run I do believe it takes the stack at least 45 min to kick in. My wind felt ok on the run but my legs felt dead. Also, this evening I was kinda dragging butt. Motivation to go lift was not quite there. So I decided to take the sample of Ragnarok and Citruvol that Millennium sent to see if would help get me going. BAM!!! that stuff hit me like a freight train. I went from 0 to 100 m.p.h. The caffine jolt was just what I needed. It was almost a little to much. Well I ended up having a great workout.

Workout 1:
Cardio
2.5 mile run

Workout 2:
Cardio:
20 min Bike
Chest and Back
Super Set 1
30 reps T-Bar Row
30 reps Incline DB Bench Press

30 reps Lat Pull Down
30 reps DB Flys
30 reps Cable Row

Giant Set 3

Citruvol Pumps were really good. I did a super high volume, high intensity, high reps work out so I was going to have good pumps any way but it seems like after the workout the pumps seemed to stick around longer. I think the Creatine in Ragnarok is also to contribute to that.

I don't think my body is making a huge transformation but I am in great shape for running and high intensity high volume workouts. This is really what I was trying to get out of this so no complaints. I really feel that the stack is beneficial to my runs. I am able to push myself without my legs wanting to tire out.

Now that sounds promising! How would this stack work on someone with asthma? I have a mild case of asthma to where I don't really need any inhalers or anything like that, but I can feel it weighing on me when I play sports. I consider myself an athlete and I am always playing sports, so a stack like this could prove to be very beneficial, but I want to be sure first. Has anyone with asthma tested this stack before?

P.S. Don't mean to threadjack, just seemed like it was the best place to ask since a lot of reps check this thread, sorry :)

Honestly I think C5 could be somewhat beneficial with someone with asthma. I am not a doctor but I can tell you how I feel since I have been taking the supplement. I have been able to push myself on my runs as far as pace goes without running out of gas as quick. I find myself not having to really slow down to catch my breath. I can just get in that rythem with my breathing and my stride and go. I don't think C5 or Carnage has any effect on lung capacity or air way which is the main issue with asthma but I think your body may use the air it does receive a little more efficiently.
Someone with more knowledge feel free to correct if wrong.

Ok Sarge, that giant set was sick! Nice session. Do you feel you get your wind back faster with this stack compared to normal in those 1 minute rest periods?

Well you know this may sound a little insane but I have really not been getting extremely winded during these giant sets high volume program. When I first started this routine I did feel like I was going to pass out at the end of each set but now I am getting to the point where the muscle is just fatigued and my breath and air are ok. I am able to recover really fast and jump right into it again. I contribute this to a combination of things.
1. I am running 3-5 miles about every other day.
2. My body is getting use to high volume intensity
3. Eating pretty clean and supplementing for recovery
4. Giving the body part enough recovery time before hitting it again.
5. And the C5/Carnage stack is helping me push my cardio sessions
It is pretty basic but really if your cardio fitness is not where it should be high volume is going to kick your butt. You got to have a good lung capacity and aerobic endurance which I feel C5/Carnage benefits. I think Ragnarok/Citruvol could be a more beneficial stack though as far as muscular strength and muscular endurance is concerned.

THOUGHTS:
Today I did not get to do my A.M. cardio, but did have a sick P.M. back workout. My legs were kinda sore from yesterdays leg workout so missing my run this morning is probably not the worst thing in the world. Tommorow might be a cardio only day and than I am going to kill chest and shoulders on Thurs. I would just like to say there is definately a place for high volume workouts. I think they get over looked because everyone wants to lift heavy but I think sometimes the body needs a change.
Workout:
Cardio
20 min elliptical
Back:
Giant Set 1
30 reps Lat Pull Down
30 reps Cable Row
30 reps Bent Over Row
*rest 1 min repeat 3 times

Giant Set 2
30 reps Tbar Row
30 Reps High Pull
30 reps Shoulder Shrugs
*rest 1 min repeat 3 times

3x30 Crunches

Definetly agree with high volume. I dont do as many reps as you but I like having a good amount of exercises per muscle. I think most think that they'll over-train if they do high volume, but it depends on the body type and recovery imo.

THOUGHTS:
Today I had a great chest workout filled with high rep giant sets. I am changing my routine next week and wil be going heavy for about 2 weeks. I will definately be re-visiting this giant set high volume routine in the future. I am however looking forward to pushing some heavy weight around. Especially some heavy legs. I think that is the one area I could use a little more size and strength in.

Workout:
Cardio:
25 min elliptical

Chest and Shoulders:
Giant Set 1
30 reps DB Bench Press
30 reps DB Flys
30 reps Incline DB Press
*rest 1 min repeat 3 times

Giant Set 2
30 reps DB Military Press
30 reps DB Lateral Raises
30 reps Db Front Raises
*rest 1 min repeat 3 times

Super Set
30 reps Cable Cross Overs
30 reps Cable Lateral Raises

3x15 Calf Raises

THOUGHTS:

Today was another get back on track day. Did a little cardio over the weekend but went out and drank some good old Kentucky burbon, So needless to say the diet and routine were a little off track. Had a great run this morning after my C5 and Carnage. I tell you this is a great running stack. I just feel like I could run forever. I hit legs heavy tonight. It has been a while since I have gone heavy and it felt really good to really have to push to move some weight. I am doing a 5x5 routine for all my core lifts. I am going to do this type of routine for 2 weeks and than do a pyramid type of routine for 2 weeks. And jump back into a high volume routine.

Workout 2:
Cardio
20 min elliptical
Legs:
5x5 Squats

Space Clown I would love to test the new Ragnarok. I am about to go look at the testers needed and post and submit. I loved the sample you guys sent with my Carnage and C5. I am thinking of doing like a ultimate Millenium Stack. Carnage and C5 in the A.M. before Cardio and Stim Free Ragnarok and Citruvol in the P.M. when I lift. What do you think?

FINAL REVIEW:

Well I am at the end of my Carnage / C5 journey. I took my last of each supplement today. It has been a great overall experience and I would like to thank Millennium Sport Technologies for the opportunity to test this new product.
My ultimate conclusion is that this stack is a great aerobic and anaerobic supplement. If you check out my training I really put the stuff through the test with cardio and high volume / high intensity workouts. I changed it up at the end and even did some heavy strength training type routines. The effects it had on me was that I was able to really push myself on my runs and in the gym because I was not fatiguing from lack of oxygen. During runs I was able to maintain a fast pace without feeling like I needed to slow down to catch my breath. In the gym I would just do Giant Set after Giant Set of 30 rep + exersizes. Yes the muscle would fatigue but I was not sucking for air like you might think.
I am plan on continuing to use these supplements in the future. I think I will take them in the A.M. before cardio and I might take Ragnarok and maybe Citruvol in The P.M. before lifting. Carnage and C5 I think are more for cardio. But if you are into anything from racket ball to MMA fighting and you would like a supplement for endurance than I would definitely recommend you take a look at these 2 products. If you are just into heavy lifting and cardio is not really your thing I would stick to a Creatine/ NO product. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
