Hi again,

Sorry im going to keep asking for your advise :) i want to do it properly this time

Ive been told to start taking CLA at around 3 - 5gms a day ive been taking 4gms (meet in the middle i thought) and i have noticed i dont hold as much water and i dont get the "im bored" munchies. BUT its also been about 34'c for 4 days straight (day and night its been hell) here in Sydney so the water loss could also be because of the heat.. saying that i did start seeing the changes before the MASSIVE heat wave we're having. Ive been making sure i drink way more water while its stupid hot around 3 litres

If anyone has been taking it or knows anything about please let me know.

Ive been taking it for about a month and have lost 2kgs (4.4pounds) which is breaking through my plateau

I take it. I can't say as though I have seen any fat loss benefit from it. Fat loss is going to come from your diet, not a pill.

CLA helps but it's not a fat "burner". It helps the body metabolize fat and I think helps with muscle retention. I believe the daily dose needed to be effective is 3400 mg daily, which is 3 pills for my brand. Conjugated linoleic acid is found naturally in meat that is grass fed and the theory is that our diets are deficient because so much of our meats are fed corn products/don't graze, etc. It is especially indicated for people with underactive thyroid disorder, who are especially susceptible to the deficiency. I take it, but it's not something that will give you instant results. Every trainer I know takes it regularly. There are tons of info/studies online that can explain what it is and how it works!

I take the Thermo CLA for the extra kick, I used to take a regular CLA product. When I started taking CLA, I did notice that I was able to build on lean muscle easily, and it would work even on days where I did not work out. I do keep to a strict diet and work out hard, but I can say that the pills helped develop lean muscle, and did help me get rid of some fat. A combination of diet and exercise while taking these will give some results.

Hope this was helpful :)

I was told to take CLA too, but it takes about a month to really start showing results. Plus, if taken with Green Tea Extract, you'll be results even faster. I've been taking it and it's helped me out plenty.

thanks everyone.. the reason i wanted (was) taking it is cause i really need to lose a lot a fat and i was worried id lose some muscle while doing so. Is this the right way to take CLA. should i be maybe taking a "fat Burner" instead? I find it easy to gain muscle so i can feel my little abs, arms and back i just have about 15kgs of fat getting in the way. So i have been getting BIGGER which isnt awesome for the motivation

I think i just need to get a clear idea of what sups i should be taking

I do cardio (45mins) 3 - 4 times a week and lift heavy 3 - 4 times a week (i think my program needs a change up too)

Can anyone suggest what i should take based on my weighing 83kgs (182.6 pounds) and 5'5.

Please and thanks :)
