Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a protein container to carry protein powder in for the day. I usually have 2 shakes during the day, and I mix them at work. I'm looking for something to carry about 4 scoops of protein, and that will easily pour into plastic water bottles. Anyone know where I can find something like this?

At the moment, I'm carrying them in plastic bags, which is a little inconvenient.

Thanks.

Joe

For me, the zip-loc bags are inconvenient because I'm concerned about them breaking or opening in my bag (I've had one break). Mostly, it's inconvenient getting the protein out of the bag and into my bottle.

The zip-loc bags do work, but I'd like to find something better.

i believe there is a shaker cup that has a compartment for powders, i may be wrong tho.

if not, just put the ziploc bags inside your shaker cup, isnt really much chance of them breaking open in that

True, that will work, too. I wanted to see if there is anything that has both of those capabilities in 1, kind of like how the SmartShake combined a mixing chamber with 2 protein chambers.

I'm trying to avoid carrying around a funnel, and I often spill the protein out of bags when I'm mixing it in a water bottle.

Why are u using a water bottle? Use a shaker. Put the baggies in the shaker while you're bringing it to work. How hard is that?

Why don't you keep a full tub of protein at your job? That way you don't have to bring in portions at all.

Joe, look into a shaker cup made by body fortress. I picked one up at walmart for six bucks. It has a holding compartment on the bottom of the cup.

Little mini containers. Dirt cheap, much more convenient than plastic baggies, takes up 1/4 of the space of 2 shaker bottles.

First, you should definitely get a shaker cup and not use a water bottle. Second, I use empty supp. bottles. They are convenient and would eliminate your worry about the baggie breaking:)

I found the perfect one at supplement warehouse. It is a smartly designed easy to travel container, shaped like a funnel with a screw on lid and a small opening to fit into water bottles. There is also an attached compartment to hold your supplements! Just search "funnel" when you go to their site and you will see the white and blue one I am talking about. I LOVE mine.

Enjoy,
Sonja
