I know I know its not possible to gain muscle and burn the fat at the same time. Kinda. I have been losing, not a lot but a little. about 10lb in 4 weeks. I work with a trainer 5 days a week, eat clean, and do cardio about 6-7 days a week. there are a few slips in there but they are getting less and less. i am not what I would call obese but Im over weight for sure. I am going to spring break at Lake Havasu the 2nd week in March and really wanted to see some bigger changes so that I dont have to be depressed everytime I look at the swin suit section at the store. I was the "fat" mom last year and that sucked! I would like to cut the weight for the trip but also have plans to compete in a fitness comp in June and dont wanna derail that by cutting to quick. i hope that makes sense. I told my trainer I would do whatever it took, even adding workouts, dropping calories, whatever (I work for myself so im very busy but have a fairly flexible schedule) Im having a hard time getting straight answers from her...any thoughts on what the right thing to do is?
