View Full Version : How's my Bulk Diet? Any Suggestions would be great

Hey,

I'm 5'7" 142 pounds. I want to get stronger and add good muscle mass. I'm just starting back up in the gym. I stopped going for almost a year due to my schedule so I have to make up for loss time. I'm starting with a 3 day Full Body workout on M/W/F and resting T/TH/S/Su. I'm trying to bulk up and get around 160-165 pounds. I made a Diet increasing all my intakes. Let me know what you think. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.


Meal 1 (11am) 2 eggs, 4 egg whites (scrambled), 2 pieces of toasted multi-grain bread(plain), Cup of Coffee

Meal 2 (12pm) 1 cup of Oatmeal, 4 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter, 8oz glass of Orange Juice

WORKOUT - 12:30PM

Meal 3 (2:30pm) Plain Bagel, Banana, ON Whey Protein Shake

Meal 4 (4pm) Tuna sandwhich on Multi-grain

Meal 5 (6:30pm) Salad, 6oz Chicken breast (grilled), 4oz pasta or 1/2 cup rice

Meal 6 (9pm) 1 1/2 cups of Cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats), 1 Cup of 2% Milk

Meal 7 (11pm) 1 slice Multi-grain bread w/ 2 TBSP of Peanut Butter, ON Whey Protein Shake


TOTALING:
3557 Calories
86g Fat
419g Carbs
277g Protein

I drink at least a gallon of water throughout the day. Once again please let me know what you think. Thanks!!!

You posted in the wrong section, PM a Mod to get it moved

Now a few things
1 - you are consuming far too much protein, it's not needed
2 - do you need that many calories to bulk? Seems a tad high?

Sorry I'm new to this site, not sure where I should post this to get advice/suggestions. I cut the diet down to CAL-2837, FAT- 42.5, CARB - 422, Protein-205. I think I need to get the fat up a little more. Are the carbs too high? Also if you could let me know where I should post this so I can move it. Thanks

This is my updated Bulking Diet.

Hey mate have you considered supplements to help bulk. Like low key bulking agents with a fifty fifty protein and carb formulae? If so what were you thinking

This one seems pretty good, your first one was sorta overkill. During my bulking I don't eat that much and i'm nearly 40 lbs heavier lol
