I want to stay injury free. I have already had shoulder problems in the past and recently just hurt my shoulder again (4 weeks ago) i need tips on how to stay injury free.. this may seem like an obvious question but i want to know what bodybuilders do to stay/maintain being 100%. Thank you :)

Good warm ups before lifting heavy is primary importance. Stretching, foam rollng, and deep tissue massage is a close second. Injury treatment and prevention is as big a part of the sport as diet and training.

One thing i see as a common trend is that someone will come into the gym, whether for bodybuilding, performance sport, or just to look better and what happens is that they push so hard that they get injured. Allow your muscles and joints time to recover each week. ALWAYS START WITH LOWER WEIGHT and work yourself up. It is much more impressive to do a 135lb bench press with perfect form than to do 315lb with horrible form. Start slow and focus on your movements and form.
As OAK stated above, being wam is SOOO important. Never just walk in the gym and start lifting. And always stretch afterwards. Not only does it feel great now, but it will improve the way you feel during lifts and it will totally make you feel better the next few days as well
(p.s. your body will say a million thank you's when your fifty and can still tie your shoes)
alright guys i just recently started stretching and ive had ART done a couple times now. That shyt will bring tears to your eyes. Is glucosamine really all that good for joints or is it another overrated supplement?
