I am nowhere near ready to compete just yet because I am trying to bulk up. Of course, I am trying to get lean mass. I had two huge burgers today... very fattening.
Anyway, my point for this thread is in order to compete in the big leagues of bodybuilding, do you have to have a white straight smile? Every bodybuilder I see has a nice smile, and I have not the nicest teeth. They aren't bad, but they aren't good either. Just wondering what the criteria was, if any, for a competition.
If you have any tips on getting ready, that would be cool, too. Otherwise, I will read up posts about it.

To answer your question, no - you do not have to have a white, straight smile. If you are really self conscious about it, just practice smiling with your mouth closed while you pose!

Agreed with what the others said; and if you want, look up Erik Fankhouser. He's a rising star in the IFBB with not-so-perfect teeth.

Looks like you're years away anyway. Would not worry so much yet.

A goal is a goal tho, i guess you will learn more about nutrition.

I like to brush my teeth twice a day for 2 weeks prior to stepping on stage. Really brings out the cuts in my gums.
Hitting the gym occaisionally helps a little too.
