My husband has been working out hard for a while and got a lot of his info on here. He told me I should ask or talk to some other women on here to get some workout ideas. I am 164 lbs and I want to get down to about 140 doing cardio and weights. I've read the caloric intake post and am getting my husband to help figure out the number I need to be eating. I really just need help coming up with a workout routine. Can anybody help. Thanks

Ok, well since nobody answered, when I went to the gym last week, the trainer suggested doing a full body circuit on the machines. I work out at 24 hour fitness. Any thoughts on doing a full body workout like theirs 3 times a week? Should I do it more than 3?

I would suggest picking up New Rules of Lifting For Women, best 12 bucks I ever spent. It has roughly 6 months of workouts in there along with nutritional information.

I have been back to working out now for the 6 weeks but got serious about my diet because of my fitness pal app on my phone. it really helps. I am doing with my boyfriend n it has so helped. i have now just started with machines. sore. excited!
