So i've been trying to cut by carb cycling, I started at about 230 lbs with about 11% bodyfat, then after about 3 weeks i got down to about 9% bodyfat at 225. Yesterday i weighed in and my abs and arms look the same they did at 225 but i weighed 230. My Lifts have stayed the same throughout my short cut and i've been doing cardio 6 days a week. This was the day after a high carb day, could this be water weight or is it possible that i'm still putting on weight?

Weigh yourself in another 2-3 days. Majority of acute weight gain is fluid retention from the carb up.

When you cut out carbs, you loose glycogen and, along with it, about 3x as much water. When you bring carbs back in, you fill back out again. You could weigh in again once you get back down near that ketogenic state and see where you are. My recommendation, if you're cycling, is to weight yourself after your carb ups each week so that you're comparing apples/apples. Depleted weights don't really tell you all that much. just my two cents.

Yeah, i kinda figured it was from the high carb intake and the water retention that goes with it, i'm gonna start weighing myself only on the high carb days
