Hey,
So I am at the highest weights i've ever managed to pull off since I started working out, and since I just recently plateaued on Riptoes Starting Strength I am now doing the Madcow 5x5 Intermediate and every other day I have been hitting up the gym for an hour cardio. During this time I usually use the
Elliptical Machine:
28 Minuets - 4 Minuet intervals
4mins: Res: 4 Height: 4 Strides Per Min: 160
4mins: Res: 10 Height: 10 Strides Per Min: 180-190
- Alternates till 28 minuets in up.
2-3 Minuet Break, Refill water, walk around chat a bit, change the tv station etc.
28 Minuets either Elliptical Machine Same As Above
or
30 Minuets Treadmill Height: 10 Speed: 4.5-5
Is this a good strategy for weight loos on my day off? I eat well, full multivitamins, protein shakes etc. As a student I find I sit a lot of my day just fidgeting my leg to stay active so when I Finally get to the gym I never want to leave before an hours up haha.
