Alright, it's the new year, starting back in the second semester of college. Starting a new routine (been on it for the past two weeks), looking for some new progress.
Doing this for myself to keep track of progress.. I also write down my workouts in a notebook but figure I'll keep track here as well..
Following a routine like this,
Normally Monday and Tuesday are my heavy days. I do more sets with less reps (5 sets x 5-6 reps or 8 sets x 3-5 reps for example)…then Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays I use lighter weights but I do more reps and less sets ( 3 sets x 10-15 reps or 2 sets x 25-30 reps for example).
Monday - Back, Shoulders, Chest, Biceps and Triceps
Tuesday - Quads, Hamstrings and Calves
Wednesday - Cardio
Thursday - Back and Chest
Friday - Quads, Hamstrings, and Calves
Saturday - Shoulders, Biceps and Triceps
Sunday - Cardio or Rest
Liking this routine so far. Last semester I trained 3x a week, so we'll see how this works. I workout in the basement of my dorm, which is a lot better than the MSU intramural location closest to me. However for my workout room it is locked and you need to have someone to go with you to be able to get in.. So I will need to find someone 5x a week to lift with that lives in my dorm and that has a gym membership, hopefully I can find some people dedicated to training and have hours that work for both of us.
Have an unlimited food plan here at college, will be eating a lot of this..
