Sorry i actually posted in the NPC section but hardly anyone is in that section so im posting here
So took me quite a while to find these out so please excuse me if I'm a bit slow at this.
My goal for the future is to become an IFBB pro.

so basically i have to

1. join the NPC
2. Win the local show
3. Win the national qualifiers
4. Win the pro qualifiers.

My friend who i met in the beginning when i started out was already competing for nationals. So he told me about this website http://lindsayproductions.com/ but i havent really looked into it until a week ago and still trying to make sure 100% of what im doing is correct. Apparently this site is for national qualifiers and IFBB. There is one competition listed under "other events" that's on January 29 Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, CA Ironman Naturally Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships. I know that's for amateur but i just started dieting after new years so I'm not ready for that one. If anyone can aim me in a direction or a website for amateur local shows i would appreciate it. I tried the search button on this site and it came up only for January 29.

That sight your friend told you about is a good place to check out.. its the link to the biggest promoter in bodybuilding Jon Lindsay...

He promotes The NPC USA, Excalibur, Cal, LA... and many other shows... all amateur national qualifiers and the USA is a pro qualifier.

The website ( Jon Lindsays sight).. gives you the dates and information on all of his NPC shows ( 14 of them held in California and Vegas).

The show in January is held at the LA convention Center and is put on by Iron Man Magazine and Lonnie Teper.. its a small natural show..natural and not a qualifier...

If your from California your looking in the right spot.. Turning pro is not easy for sure since there is a handfull of pro cards given out to mens bodybuilding in the NPC....

Good luck and if you decide to do one of those shows.. drop me a line.. i have done many of those shows. Plus i go to all the shows to support competitors i work with that compete.
