i am planning on starting a cut soon and really want to dothings correctly and minimize muscle loss as much as possible. im still a little new to cutting/bulking. when i first started lifting just over a year ago i started with a very extreme cutting diet and lost a quite a bit rather quickly. i def had the advantage of newbie gains, although im not sure how long this phenomenon actually lasts. over the last 5 months ive slowly increased cals to what i think is maintenance and then slowly above that. ive def gained although ive banned myself form using the scale so i dont know how much, strength has def increased and ive increased in mass for sure. for those of you wiht more experience, how do you mininmize muscle loss during cutting? i am ok with doing it very slowly and frankly im scared to be hungry and miserable so im planning on going rather slow. for the most part i have the diet part of things down as far as protein/fats/carbs, but i have a huge appetite and tend to be hungry constantly and think ill need to fill my diet with high volume/low cal type foods. i hoping t to kill myself with cardio either, i prefer to lift and am almost nervous that cardo will just make me hungrier. any advice on methods/ technique?
