I had an ACL reconstruction 18 months ago. I play Division 1 football. The back and middle of my knee has been bothering me. One of my trainers said it may just be a dystal hamstring strain, but its geting worse and I havnt practiced in a week. I'm worried I may have done something to my ACL. Its stiff and achy. This only started about 6 weeks ago. I've been able to play with it. I'm just not sure. Anyone know?

If your worried about it, go and see a sports injury physiotherapist that doesnt belong to the team you play for! get there advice, see what they say, have a massage and follow there advice, now they may suggest you consult a specialist for a scan, they could confirm what your trainer said about a strain but if thats the case and it comes back after a short period of training and you get pain go see an injury specialist straight away and get it scanned. Better safe than sorry
