Ok. I am starting this now. This is a decision I made today after taking pics for the end of an online BBing contest. I loved the experience of just dieting for 16 weeks, working hard, achieving something, getting the photos done, posing. Now it's time to turn it in to something real.
By working hard I want to win the junior class and overall (maybe :D) at the BNBF Welsh qualifier. I'll be hiring a coach, taking pictures weekly and using the next 7 months to focus on my weak points.
This thread may lay dormant for a month till after Christmas, which is when I'll get the coach and start my prep. Starting pics will be up soonish though.
I CANNOT WAIT to get up there on stage!

Enjoy training, enjoy eating haha! Nah, in the long run, get stronger and compete in 2012 if I feel I've made the improvements I'm after. Will be interesting to watch you lean out.

For sure.
I had my eyes opened today. I'd always thought my upper half lead my lower body, but as it turns out, it's the other way round. Which is a rare, nice problem to have. My other problem is wide hips which there is nothing I can do about :( Does help make my legs look big though.

all the best joe,
what weight are you at now and how did you find applying pro tan?
also throughout your cut how much did you shift in the end?
bnbf is a quality org and dawn runs great clubs for the bnbf competitors as i am sure mark will tell ya. he got incredibly conditioned for his junior class win (was in the beef a month or so back i think)
i may dip my toe into bnbf water in the coming year, main goal is the NPA finals in the lightweights though. if i do the welsh is not too far from me so will either come and give you a hand banckstage or just shout at your from the audience lol

Yeah, the clubs are in invaluable, the posing practice was KEY for me to doing well, literally and I mean LITERALLY turned some of my worse poses into my best, side chest especially and front relaxed. If you can get to them it's a must!
(says myself who hasn't been to one for months lol)
Did you mean i was mentioned in 'the beef'? If so, wasn't aware of that, that'd be cool.

in the competition report they noted your condition and i know from your 3 weeks out thread you posten in the contest prep section that really drove home to me how important condition was and i actually chose to do a later show as the look your brought was what i wanted to attain.
will be good to see you come back and do damamge, i don't know what division you will be in but as a fellow smaller structured guy with decent legs it was good to see you do well.
for me aswell working with actual competitors on posing made a huge difference. there are so many little things that can really show the quality of your physique that you could never figure out alone. steve howarth (UIBBN orld champ and NPa masters Champ) taught me more in 20 mins backstage than i learnt in 5 months from reading books and articles.

That's pretty humbling lol. Feels good man.
Condition as you're obviously aware is paramount in natural shows, especially the BNBF. Yeah, it's nuts how quickly they can change your physique in 10 mins, Vicky McCann, Guy Addison and Kenny Napier at the Scottish clubs are a godsend.
