You're doing the Tri-State? It's a great show. Good competition there and always run smoothly. Great show to do for your first time. Good luck.

Do not cut out water. That is my best quick advice.

x2! And don't just try and manipulate your salt and water the week of. If you are thinking of doing that at all (which I don't suggest) test it out many weeks in advance. Good luck!

Do you live in ohio? You will enjoy the show in dayton. The hickmans who put on the show are a great couple and great people. There is another great show in april in columbus put on by a great promoter and company; its called the buckeye classic (apparently i cant post the website name b/c i am new to the site!)
My best advice is to come prepared in great conditioning and ready to pose. You will be required to hold you poses for a long time so conditioning and posing practice will be crucial. I will probrably be at both shows so i'll probrably see you there.
BTW, I always manipulate my water and sodium before a show. If its your first show, I would also suggest doing a trial run a couple weeks before, or just doing more than one show to see what works.

Hey, what's up Sean? See you at the Buckeye and prolly at Rich's gym the weekend of the Arnold. I was really hoping to see you on the pro stage at the Buckeye. What are your plans for this year?

Hey trevor,
I am going to take the year off and try to put on more quality size before I step on the pro stage. How about you, are you going to do the buckeye again?

Yes, I plan on it. I have my first show March 19, so I'll have a month in between to tweak anything I need to.

Anyone from the NJ area doing any shows this summer? My first show is April 16th... looking to attend other local shows after that but won't be competing after April, there are no close INBF shows in the South Jersey area so I was thinking OCB or other organizations. This year it will be getting my feet wet with this first show in the Novice class, then work my butt off to bring up my weaknesses.

muscles are about 65-75% water! Cut out water, then you will be flat, not good!

Hydrated=Fuller harder muscles, I'll take that!

Thats the old myths coming through of old school bodybuilding and very unhealthy, too!
