I have been working out for the past 4 months now. I am 6ft with a large bone structure, i started out at 301 and have dropped to 241. I still have fat to lose and am still on the low calorie, cardio, high rep free weights routine with supplements (oep). When do you make the transition from fat loss to muscle building. I want to get swol so not for sure when you should switch directions. Pleas help

What is your body fat %? It's entirely up to you, but I'm not going to start bulking until I get below 15% body fat.

Congrats on the weight loss!

Get your body fat below 10- 15% then you can start to focus on muscle gain.

241 is still pretty fat dude ( no offense). Unless you're pretty muscular to begin with (which it doesn't sound like) I would cut down to about 200 before even considering bulking. The reason I say that is from experience.

I cut from 250 to 195 and I "thought" I was ready to start eating and bulking up. I wasn't, got back into bad habits and got fat again up to 225. It was heart breaking....Get down to 200 and you'll be much more careful about bulking.
