Hey Guys,

Welp I've finally made the plunge into MMA. I will be starting this week training Tuesday and Thursday nights.

Along with my MMA training, I will be implementing a strength training routine on Mon/Wed/Fri. Thanks to Jeremy90 for the strength training layout. The routine looks like this:

Monday: Power Clean, Dumbbell Bench Press, Squats

Wednesday: Push Press, Weight Chins, Front Squats

Friday: Box Jumps, Weighted Dips, Dead lifts

I will also implement some supplements into my nutrition/training. They look something like this:

Muscle Pharm Assault
Muscle Pharm Recon
Muscle Pharm Combat Powder
Muscle Pharm Muscle Gel
Scivation Whey
Controlled Labs Orange Triad
ProLab Creatine Mono
Natures Made Fish Oil

The main reason for this log is to mainly keep track of my nutrition and training. Mainly it is to keep myself honest and training hard as well as keeping my nutrition in check.

I appreciate anyone who helps out, gives advice, and just follows along the way.

I'll try and update as much as I can (hopefully a few times a week)

Sorry for not getting the chance to really update this week, it's been very hectic.

I have a personal log in a notebook of my lifting and my diet for this week so hopefully I'll get a chance to put it up soon.

As far as the training this week, I went Tuesday/Thursday night.

We worked some stand up on Tuesday. Mainly consisted of working on stance/punches/kicks while learning a few combos (the basics).

Thursday consisted of some ground work. Mainly take downs as well as learning to pass/control guard, and he even showed us an arm bar.

I was very pleased with the classes, I really think I made the right decision by starting to train.

Thanks for dropping in and I'll try my best to keep the log updated more regularly this week.
