After buying black ops i realised im going to need to upgrade computers. I'm looking to spend $1000 or less hopefully on a gaming laptop which would run black ops on full. I really have no idea when it comes to laptops.

Current laptop:

Intel Pentium Dual CPU T3400 @ 2.16 ghz
Nvidea Geforce 9600M GS
4gig Ram
160gig

Does it have to be a lap top? With 1k you could build a decent desktop

Yea I need to take it from work to home etc. As for the screen size I think at the moment i have a 13" or there about that and i'm fine with it.

I pretty much just game, watch movies and misc on it.

sort of, it is basically the same chip, one just runs at a higher clock rate.

If the company has the 5650 clocked in at at same clock rate then theyll perform the same

Thing's got a 3 year warranty on top of the damn good deal.

Mind=Blown. It's the same price in Canada. I need a job damnit.

EDIT: By the way, you're not going to get the kind of gaming laptop you're looking for for less than $1000.

As far as my poor ability to compare benchmarks says, yes. I'd look into it yourself if I were you, though. Remember there is also a 3 year warranty with the MSI, whereas the one you posted is both used and lacks a warranty.

I was watching reviews on the one you posted and the temperature seems to be an issue. A lot of them seem to have changed the heat sinks and changed out the 2gig ram cards with 4 gigs ddr3. Not sure if that will void the warranty though.

It could. I don't think it would be necessary. A simple laptop cooler seems to have solved the issue for the majority of them. I assume the others don't think that's cool enough, but it should be for just about anybody.
