Hey guys I was lucky enough to be picked as one of the people to do reviews on Betancourt's Big Blend Protein. I was sent 2 scoops of 4 flavours. Choco-Latte, French Vanilla,Vanilla Cap and White Chocolate.
First a little about the Protein

So as you can see there is a nice group of protein sources and that is one of the things I am looking for as protein supps are a big part of my daily intake and I think varying the sources has to be better then constantly only using Whey ISO like I have been.
I will say there is a ton of good B.C.A.A and A.A.'s in there of course we are stuck with the prop blend which I don't think anyone is going to get away from. But since the price is pretty much on par with other proteins these are bonus really no matter how much is in there.
I also find the digestive enzyme blend exciting I did have gastric bypass surgery and anything that can help me with better digestion which results in better up take and use of nutrients is very welcome to me.
OK so on to the reviews
well the first review anyway will add the others in days to come.
First I tried was Choco-Latte also the flavour I thought would be my least favorite.
I tried it 3 ways
Made into a oatmeal type cereal with water and a little baking power in the micro
In a Protein Pancake made with egg and natty p.b and just a touch of skim milk
And last a scoop mixed in water and poured over Ice
First The Cereal
It was really tasty and light in texture, I mixed it with a spoon and it was still well blended.
Very Much Coffee flavoured (in a good way).
Good Flavour
Good Mixability
Good Texture
8/10 in Cereal
Second The Pancake
This was by far my favorite way to have the Choco-Latte. Again mixed all ingredients with a spoon on lumps. Flavour was off the chain much more of the Chocolate came through with the coffee still holding it's own.
Great Flavour (With Sugar Free Syrup AMAZING FLAVOUR)
Good Mixability
Great Texture was light and fluffy not all proteins end like that.
9/10 in pancake
10/10 in pancake with sugar free syrup
Third and Final
Was 1 scoop mixed in 300ml of water.
Mixed great no powder left behind, no chunks going down. Flavour again was Coffee strong but again in a good way. I will say if you don't like coffee this is not going to be for you most likely. IF you do it may be one of your fav's.

7 or 8 out of 10 mixed in water over Ice
