Figure out how many calories you burn in a day (there are many calculators out there) and subtract 500 calories from that. That is how many calories you should be eating in a day in order to lose fat gradually. A 500 calorie deficit each day means that should should lose 1 lb a week from diet alone, assuming that what you are eating is relatively healthy.
Meals should be high in protein, and moderate in carbs and fats. You should also be eating 5-6 smaller meals a day to keep your metabolism going.
I would recommend doing low intensity cardio (60% of your max heart rate) for 45 min to an hour 6 days a week if you are looking to burn fat as well.

That sounds great except I would recommend interval cardio instead. I've found this most effective . Go 2 min at a normal pace then 30 seconds as hard as you can. Repeat this for 30-45 min on whatever cardio machine you desire. Good luck you can do it stay focused on nutrition Plan ahead meals so u don't fail

Do LISS, do HIIT, do whatever you feel like just get the **** off the computer and do something :) keep your body moving.
sounds like you're on the right track just by starting to go to the gym in the first place. just keep at it - you'll knock off those 35lbs in no time hooah.
