I started working out very heavily 3 or 4 months ago and about 4 weeks ago I bought Serious Mass from optimum nutrition and have gone from 165 to 171-174 scales differ. My body fat hasn’t gone up and I’ve noticed strength increases. I want to cut my Body fat considerably so I can get more definition, currently my workout is:
Monday Back-Bi's
Tuesday rest or shoulders depending on work schedule
Wednesday legs
Thursday rest
Friday Chest and triceps
And abs whenever I can fit them in
On my rest days can I do cardio or will it impede on my muscle growth? I read somewhere to limit cardio when trying to gain muscle as you need more calories to build muscle. I guess my question is should I weight to finish serious mass before doing an hour of cardio again on my off days? Could I Take serious mass in between meals and after workouts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday then do cardio on Tuesday and Thursday and not take serious mass? Currently I'm taking in around 3500-4000 calories including serious mass.
