Workout: "Slightly revised Arnold beginner 1 program"
-3 days on, 1 off, repeat
-day1- chest/upper back
-day2- shoulders/arms
-day3- legs/lower back
--*reps 6-10 on hdrol, 4-8 on PCT
--*done in my home gym hence stay at home
Diet: Eat clean and heavy
-Calories ~4500
-Carbs ~450

--*40 carbs, 30 protein, 30 fat ration
--*will adjust diet as weight increases
Hdrol Dosing- Starting at 75mg and adjust accordingly throughout 6 weeks.
-75/75/then maybe 100 depending on sides for 4 weeks

-Taurine 5g daily (for back pumps)

thanks bros i felt like doing 75 for a week or two than going to 100 if the sides arent bad cuz ive been reading of alot of heavier people saying 100 was the sweet spot for them but never really found any logs at a high dosage. i hope mine will be able to help out those that were thinking of bumpin it up early instead of waiting til last few days of a cycle when ur sides are already a b*tch

Maybe I missed it above - but are you purely bulking, or going for some recomp also?

Im going for more of a bulk, just added 2 more tablespoons of olive oil so my diet is about 4750 cals now.. I'm only two days in the hdrol but it has increased my hunger already, so as I gain weight I'm goin to try hit 5500 cals by the end

I'm saving the creatine for pct cuz the hdrol is going to be giving me a kickass pump which it already has been just two days in, and when I get off, I'll add the creatine back to help with keeping my weight that I gained and most of my strength I hope.

Status Update:
(75 mgs, 2 days in)
-Incredible Pump during workouts
-Feels like I can just keep going and going
-Increase Hunger
No sides, will post lift log tomorrow.
I also feel the need to constantly walk around the house with my shirt off cuz my muscles look swole all day.

I take 50 mg in the mornin when i wakeup around 9am, and then I workout about an hr or two after and take my support supps around 4 hrs after my hdrol pill at 1, and then take my next 25mg hdrol at 6pm then cycle assist before bed at 1030pm

People say taking the support supps within 4 hours of the hdrol will affect the absorption of the hdrol. You probably won't notice a difference, but I'm just being safe than sorry.
The purpose of your PCT is to try to return your body levels to normal. During PCT your going to be fighting to keep the gains/weight you made. Depending on how well you did your pct and the damage the ph did to your levels will affect how soon your body's back to normal.
Once you recover from the ph, you should be able to make gains again naturally just keep in mind they aren't going to come as fast as they did in ur 6 week ph run.

I'm going to post my first lift log tomorrow.. I decided to start weighing myself in the mornin before breakfast and at night before bed.. I weighed myself the last 3 days in the morning and have been around 230 but when I weigh myself at night there is a weight gain from the day before.. probably from eating more and increased water intake during the day, but with both weights I'll be able get a better picture of my weight gain
I also increased the amount of oats of eating so my calories are at about 5000, ~500 carbs, ~330 protein, ~160 fats.

I've read in a old skool HDrol log that a CEL Rep posted you wont notice any difference when taking them together as opposed to taking them apart 4 hours. I plan on taking them 4 hours apart due to I wanna get the most out of my cycle.

for the first 4 weeks i took them at the same time, for the last 2 i took them 4 hours apart, i didn't notice a difference.

i read in some logs that people who took it together had som stomach aches or something like that. some people didnt notice any difference ( like you guys ). i guess its just different from person to person

I take 50 mg in the mornin when i wake up with fish oil than have my protein shake than 15 mins later have breakfast, than my 2nd dose of 25 is about 10 hrs later, an hour after I eat my food.
No reason really why I do it like that except that hdrol has half life of 12 hours so I try take the two dosages an hour apart.

Decided to skip workout out because my legs were still sore from Day 3 and my groin is still hurting from a couple weeks ago when i pulled it lunging. Last workout, I worked through the pain, but doing it again seemed stupid, just going to let it rest a bit more

Thanks guys! Its hard gettin my body used to going from 6 reps which i was doin b4 cycle to the 10 reps my first set. It'll only be a matter of time though. For legs, I just have to get them warmed up alot more before going for my first set to avoid injury.

Not at all lol, the first two days i took hemo rage after my 50mg dosing of hdrol and my heart was gonna come out of my chest.. Without preworkout my heart rate seems normal during the lifts, and the hdrol is kicking in enough to give me the pump I need to squeeze out my reps.

thanks man, the size is def coming! my routine has a decent amount of volume and higher rep range, so the strength gains aren't as apparent as some of the other logs. however, the drol is def helping me keep up the weight towards the end of my lifts and get extra reps in the beginning. I look leaner too even though I upped my cals to around 5200 lol

why not lower the volume and reps to see if you can gain more? Do you plan on doing that in the later stages of the cycle? Starting out at 230 pounds and having to gain, 5000 calories sounds about right haha

I'm waiting to see if the strength people say kick in weeks 2 or 3 helps lol The last 3 months Ive lifted low reps so I wanted to switch to higher reps and have the hdrol help me still do a decent amount of weight for 10 reps.
I think its a matter of time until my body adjusts to the higher reps and I plan on lowering the reps/volume on PCT so my gains are solidified.

my bottle of taurine by primaforce says:
-Supports Healthy Blood Sugar Levels Already Within A Normal Range*
-Antioxidant Properties*
-Supports Energy Production*
I've never felt energy from taking it and I am more than capable of falling asleep after taking it, so I wouldnt say so.

I had jury duty all day then work was able to start lifitng at 930pam, so after I got some great new PR's (*) in squats I was satisfied and loss focus with other lifts.. I may have to switch the way my hands are with front squats b/c my wrists were killing me which usually doesnt happen.
Day 11 (235.8 +5.8 regained water weight that was loss)

I was pumped up and hit some new pr's on chest. I started day 1 doing 275 for around 5 and got 8, and then 295 for 4. Pullups were killing my left bicep, so I may switch to lat pull downs b/c it was killing me.
Cliffs-
-Weight still stable although calories around 5200: ~510carbs 360 protein, and 175 fats
-Great Pumps and Feeling good
-Sides- Back pumps here and there during lifts, few pimples on back
-Joints good, taking cissus and glucosamine.

Its not too bad, but for some reason when ever i take my quickgainer shake immediately after i lift i get diarreah all day, so I just have to remember to wait 10 mins or so. I'll be fine switching to lat pull down cuz I dont wanna mess up my bicep. And my groins been healing well since I hold a butterfly stretch for 5 mins each day. I also made my stance closer on squats and feet not as angled out.
Just gotta stay focused and do work.

Yea man my lifts have been going up and my size has exploded. I was waiting until the very end to post progress pics for the aw factor, but I may have to do some pics halfway.

Thanks man I've been lifting really hard on that routine and seen some great size gains.. Good luck on your lifts recovery from your injury and think a lot about whether or not you need to do you cycle right now or wait a couple months :)

I'm updating my diet once more this time adding more protein by drinking two cups of egg whites instead of 1.3 and eat 16oz of ground beef instead of 12. Also, taking two scoops of protein before bed instead of 1.

Yea, thats what I did sat down for an hr and entered in about 20+ foods, now I just point and click to see what I'm eating. The thing I really like is that it gives you a pie chart of your fats, proteins, and carbs.
Right now I'm at 36/31/33 carbs/protein/fat.

Haha those PR's did not come easy lol Im hopin to hdrol really boosts my strength soon so the weight at least feels a lil lighter lol

Is it true that H-drol doesn't seem to be the best in the way of strength gains?
There are better prohormones out there for strength gains. Originally, I was going to use mdol now and then near summer use hdrol to cut, but people were telling me the mdrol would spoil me for hdrol meaning I'd gain way more strength on mdol than hdrol. I chose hdrol because of the lesser sides and I'd rather deal with having less strength gains now and then having more later with a stronger compound.
There are logs of people gaining 20 plus on bulks, but some of those people started bulking and hdrol at the same time. As for me I've been bulking for about 2-3 months prior to this and have went from maybe 215 to 230 with out a ph in that time. So thats about 5 a month. If you do a 6 week (month and half cycle) that's maybe 8 lbs that you would of got without hdrol on a bulk plus the 8-15 you expect from this, your looking at possible +20.
I just hope to hit 245 which would be +15, but would still be happy with a solid +10 too!

I found out that my bicep was getting hurt from doing clean and presses using wraps and dropping the weight down too fast/hard. I removed the wraps and focused more on my form which helped a lot. I also did slow controlled curls to not harm my biceps.

I had an awesome squat day. Hit new PR's. Switched my feet to pointing straight instead of angled out which took away right groin pain. It brought back an old pain I had in my left glute/hamstring but doing the squats slow and controlled shouldnt make it an issue. I just may be favoring that side a bit which I'll have to stop.
Cliffs:
-*new pr's, More concerned of adding weight to last set and not first two
-Feeling good, happy, and being patient about my gains knowing I have to do work
-Took taurine pre workout, intra, and post and eliminated all back pumps on legday

I've also been drinking a small amount of coffee preworkout to help get me ready for the lift since I lift in the morning. Heart Rate did not seem to increase even when taking 50mg of hdrol prior.

Lookin good OP. I'm jealous of all you guys that get to bulk taking 5000+ calories. I just started my hdrol cycle last week and am trying to recomp so I'm down at 2,300 cals right now. haha you'll get there someday dollerbill, i went from doing 3k to 4k over the years and now 5k hopefully by the end of winter i may be pushin 6k.. It's a pain in the ass if your eating clean tho, but after bulking dirty before and getting fat its the way for me!
Thats a sweet app! I wish my phone could do that, it would help if I ever eat something not on my diet like a cookie or a bag of chips I'm starting to find at work while on this cycle.

Today feels good. I'll get to relax and take my mind off lifting for the day. My weight is back up to what it's been so hopefully it will be steady gains from here on out. My body is getting used to the 5300 cals and extra added protein so hopefully won't have any more days of diarrhea lol

I don't see a huge difference in the pics, but when I look at myself in the mirror I seem bigger and the scale says I gained almost 9lbs in 18days so I'm somewhat happy about that. Bench has gone from 275 for 6 to 295 for 6. Rows and squats have increased as well!

I had a good pump this workout out and got a pr doing clean and press. I'm making sure I am warmed up enough prior to lifts because its starting to get cold in my basement. I did some research on my bicep pain and it seemed I strained it while lowering the weight between exercises (i.e bring the bar off squat position to lower bent row position with out taking weight off it).
Day 17 (238 +8)

Im tired of parallel/box squats.. Its too hard to tell if im going parallel without mirrors and using a bench as a guide hasnt been helping. The position just does not feel natural for me compared to when I squat til my hamstring touches my calves. At the bottom position my butts about 7 inches from the floor, but at least I wont be getting leg/knee pains. My squat weights will drop but I feel my legs will grow more :)
Day 18 (238.8 +8.8)
-Rest
I normally workout 6 days in a row, but today as I was warming up to bench press my outer pecs were still too sore from prior lifts, so I was smart about it and will take an extra day of rest. Least thing I need now is a strained pec on top of the groin, bicep and hamstring. Those pains have been going away btw just being more smart about lifting at home without a partner!

Progress is definitely noticeable for 2.5 weeks. You should definitely hit 245 by start of PCT. Keep it up.

Ah the joys of being 6'3". It takes a lot of mass to really look bigger when you're this tall. It's typically a 15-20 pound difference before I can tell a difference.

I felt some strength increases Day 19 on my bench press, Day 20 was today and I had an alright lift with my shoulders..
I strained my left bicep so I cant go so hard on arms, and the pain is now around my armpit/pec area so Im changing my workout away from arnolds. My body def wants to lift alot more weight but his workout is mainly for size and lifting heavy on it is only leading to injury since my muscles are never really healed.
The splits are just too awkward for me and puts too much strain on my biceps which I'm not used to lifitng much with anyway. Im going back to my old workout just with about the same rep range ~8.
That would be-
Day 1 Chest/Tri's
Day 2 Legs
Day 3 Shoulders/Traps
Day 4 Back/Bi's
Day 5 off
Repeat
That should lead to workouts around 45mins to an hr instead of 1.5 to 2 hrs and my musles should have ample time to recover.

I felt the Hdrol starting to kick in on my sets on bench 255 felt really light for 10 and I usually start 235-245, and 275 for 8 is usually a struggle but felt like clock work. 305 for 4 was ok getting up but my pec was slightly strained from going to extreme close gripping before.
Day 20 (239.6 +9.6)
Workout B (Shoulders/Traps/Arms)
Shoulder Press- 205x10, 215x7, 225x4*
Upright Row- 135x10, 145x8, 145x7
Lat Raise- 25x10,8,8
Shrugs- 375x15,15,15

My biceps been slightly hurt, but getting better. Clean and presses seem light but it agitates my bi's too much that I had to cut them out. I'm going back to my old workout to make my workouts shorter and more time to rest my muscles.
On arnolds workout it seems like you're working everymuscle every day except legs and they dont heal. It would be good to just lift light and get some size but my bodies telling me to go heavy so ima go heavy :D
Also, I havent been having any more diareah I figured out it was from drinking too much liquids protein too fast before I lift (2 cups egg whites at once) so I added to slices of bread and drink a cup at a time. I also eat my meals slower in the day and I think my weights gonna start to shoot up.

I was planning on bumping up to 125mgs tomorrow til the end, but may give 100mgs a shot this week since I felt the drol kicking a bit. Then I could bump to 125mgs weeks 5 and 6 or maybe even 150 week 6. I've seen people run it this high on other sites without many problems.
I realize now that my previous cycles in the past of dymethazine, tren, and supremacy+mass tabs may have been stronger compounds than the drol so I may have been expecting too much of it for a solo compound on a bulk.
It's not too bad because I feel the gains will be easy to keep with minimal shut down. It kind of just got my feet wet so when I recover in a few months I'll be hitting up mdrol to finish up the bulking job.

-Leg Day Finally broke 240 (+10 gain in weight) :)
-Started ATG Squats
-Felt great pump was able to get 3 extra reps at 295 (6 total)
-Ended at 315 for 3

I just did my shoulders today, and they felt really pumped. Instead of doing clean and presses I did seated military press on a flat bench. It was a little awkard which got me agitated, but once I got the blood flowing, I was good.

Thanks man I'll try that! But ya I found that out with Hdrol after buying 3 bottles on sale lol.. I just figured since I havent used any ph in over two years I'll try squeezing out some gains with this.. Then wait a few months and do something stronger.

Day 25 (242+ 12)
I did my chest workout today, and was able to get 2 more reps on my last set of bench. Pump was Great.
Day 26 (243.3 +13.3)
Today was the day after Thanksgiving so I was bloated the morning. I did legs and got it for 5 times when I only did it 3 ATG last workout. My back pumps were killing me towards the end of the workout and I cut down on my sets of SLDL's.
Day 27 (243.6 +13.6)
I kept my weight up since Thanksgiving, so I am happy about that. I've been getting in about 5,300 clean calories a day plus a snack or to that I see throughout the day so that puts me up to about 6k cals daily. I've noticed a bit more stomach fat, and a bloated feeling after eating a large breakfast.
Day 28 (243.8+ 13.8)
Today was shoulders and I had a solid pump I could really feel in my shoulders. I'm almost +15 which I'm very happy about. The last few days I've been feeling a little tired throughout the day which could be some of the drol or just it being winter time.
Cliffs
-Weight Gain +13.8 since start
-Strength Up 2 or more reps from last workout
-Moods good, feeling slightly tired but maybe from winter
-No other sides except maybe a pimple every few days

Day 29 (244, +14)
Today was back day. Reps and weights are still increasing. My left bicep seems to have almost healed, but I am still careful about the lifts I do since some still strain it.
Day 30 (244.4 +14.4)
Rest Day. I'm almost at 245 which is probably what I have wished for. Im getting sick of eating so much rice chicken and beef, but will get with it. Hopefully I can hit 250 with a little less the two weeks I have left.
I thought about maybe bumping to 150mgs today to finish up the last week and half. So far I took 100mg's at once but I did feel my blood pressure rise which I never felt while taking 75 mgs at once. I'll either keep it at 150 for a few days but take 75 mg at a time and see how it goes or go back down to 125 which didnt seem bad at all.
Sides- One or two pimples, slightly tired, having trouble sleeping now when taking drol before bed so I will take a few hours before. Libido still strong.. I'm very happy sides have not been an issue yet
Cliffs-
-Same pump, increased reps and weights
-Almost 245 (+15 from start)
-Logging is such a pain :)
-Same little sides (acne) but now trouble sleeping
On a side note did any one else who took hdrol notice that their dreams seem so much more realistic lol

looking good man. 150mg, that's nuts haha. My dreams have been crazy for the last 11 weeks. First the drol made them realistic as hell, and now the nolva is too. The nolva makes them more intense and sometimes they can actually affect the way i feel for a few hours once i wake up. I will there was a pill i could take that would make me have dreams about boning hot chicks every night

150 is pretty nuts so I just wanted to see it cuz I've heard about some people going that high but not many have logged it so if Im gonna try it I mine as well log it..
bout those dreams hahah i know exactly how you guys feel bro... my dreams are so weird.. i had a dream i was driving a round a long twisty road going up a mountain.. and next thing i know theres a snake in the middle of the road and I woke up like AH and my gf started laughin at me.. the next night I already knew it was going to be a wacky dream so I just said NO outloud and woke up.. thats never happened to me, cant wait to see wut the nolva brings

it be hard for me to judge, but by the end of my cycle you'll see the after pics.. Hopefully there'll be a more noticeable increase in size.. But without measuriing I'd say I gained about 1% or 2% bodyfat.. I still have a fourpack, but I do feel more fat on top. Roughly i'd hope ~8lbs muscle, ~4 fat, ~2 added water (~14lb increase)

Hdrol back down to 125
Day 31 (244.4, +14.4)
I weighed the same as yesterday but seemed more dehydrated from bumping to 150mgs. I still felt same amount of bodyfat over my abs but you could see them alot more once i got my pump going. I took 100mgs before my lift in the morning and did chest.
My chest workout was about the same as last's even tho last week I had a spotter at the house that time. It was frustrating lifting alone and with it raining the last two days, I was not in the upbeat mood as usual. I think i strain my muscles when I unrack and rack the weight when i bench alone since i usually have a lift off prior to this cycle. The other week my left armpit was sore after a chest day and today my right armpit seems a little sore already.
Cliffs-
-Started this cycle doing 275 for 5 and got 275 for 10 flat bench
-Almost plus 15
-Going back to 125 b/c 150 felt like a lot for now

Today was legs and I did an extra set of squats and lunges. I also did SLDL's off the floor instead of on a box and 225 felt about a 1000x lighters.
Day 33(244.4, 14.4)
Today's usually a rest day, but I felt pumped to do shoulders so what the hell lol I was able to go up some weight in my seated militaries so I was happy.
On a side note, I went to the dr today and he took blood to test since i told him bout my diareah problem i've had a while bak. so looks like there may be some interesting results cuz of hdrol maybe?
I dont like seeing 244.4 everyday on the scale for like the last week, so Im thinking my gains have really tapered out and I'm not feeling much stronger on the drol so I think I may end it at a 5 week cycle.. I wasnt too impressed with hdrol in the strength department although Ive had my muscles strains which may have affected that. I'm happy with my size/weight gains that I will post w/ my final pics after tomorrrow.

Damn dude, thats a LOT. Excited to see some bloodwork of this once its done :D How much milk thistle are you taking per day btw? I'm taking about 4-5 grams, on top of my liver support.

haha yea not many blood results around here so i'll be interested too.. will see it next week:)
and ive been taking cycle assist which has about 1000mg + liv52 which doesnt have any milk thistle but other liver supports

Wow, 125 mgs in one day. Do you get bad back pumps from it. When I was taking 100mgs a day I would get minor head aches and some back pumps.

I decided to finish my workout week that ends with back before doing pct. I had a nice pump and looking forward to posting final results/pics today.

Today is day 1 of my pct so I hope to hold on to my gains which I am pleased with.

i took taurine preworkout mid and post, so they werent that bad except on leg day.. front squats were really hard to do along with sldls

i wouldnt have added so much volume in the beginnin of my cycle and waitin more til weeks 3 and 4 where i felt i got my best gains..
its a great first ph for someone to start off with, but ive already done a few so i would have either chose something stronger or stacked hdrol with another compound.

the nurse just called and left a message saying that my blood results were unremarkable and everything looks fine, i never got blood done before the cycle so i guess theres not much to compare, but if people are interested in seein the results i'll try gettin a copy so i can post
