Need some advice with the cardio.
I have a big meal 1 hour before i train (650+ calories with about 90g carbs) i then train for 1.5 hours followed by LISS cardio.
I was wondering if it would be better to perform HIIT cardio for 15 minutes post-weights, or should i just stick to the LISS, which would be the better option for sparing muscle and keeping anti-catabolic.
I could have a 20g glucose/10g BCAA drink before the HIIT.
Advice?

Do HIIT twice a week with LISS the rest of the week. That should be fine. No need to take in additional carbs or anything if you are taking that much pre-workout.

Just the BCAA before the cardio then?
So if i was to do cardio 5 days a week post-workout, 3 LISS and 2 HIIT.
Why not 5 HIIT?

i dont know the science behind but everyone has always told me it's just too stressful on your body to do it more than say... 3 times a week

if you're already lean, no need to push the extra cardio
alot of people say too much hiit will eventually catch up with you.
in my own experience it is somewhat true
i'd suggest, at the very least, splitting your weights and cardio

Splitting up the weights from my cardio is just too much of a hassle, i would prefer to do cardio post-workout.

in that case the bcaa's might be a good idea

Why not 5 HIIT?
If you are doing 5 days of REAL hiit cardio, it will hinder your legs recovery. I used to do two days of hiit and put it at the end of my legs workouts (which was super brutal) just so I could have the 3 full days of legs recovery. This seemed to work OK for me other than the fact that I used to have to sit in the locker room for 15-20 min to get into a mental place where I could do hiit after a legs session.

Yes, it certainly blows, but I would recommend doing HIIT post workout - once I switched it to post workout this last contest prep, I noticed a big difference....

looking at your photos & frame I would not recommend this. You will probably be too catabolic IMO even with the PWO shake (which also should contain some whey) and I would use waxy Maize instead of dextrose. HIIT I like doing pwo but for you with the way you described I would probably skip it if trying to lean bulk. If dieting i would stick to long duration fasted AM sessions. Try to save HIIT for independent sessions after a carb up during the night, or after a touch up short workout. I think if you train legs quick enough HIIT on the stair master is a great way to end the workout also if a carb up is near.

when possible I'd separate the cardio and weights, and HIIT 5 days a week can catch up with you in a bad way, I wouldn't recommend that, unless your not really doing HIIT....if its more moderate high intenisty/low intensity intervals....vs balls to the wall//recovery intervals, then that's not HIIT

As long as you take your bcAas your good , dont take carb then there no point on the fat burning perspective
Ive been doing it and work great you kill two birds at once .
You stay lean while building mass!!
Just make sure you do your leg day
After your full rest day or your gonna be to sore!
