Okay The reason why I am debating this because.. Is bulking and Cutting alot for the human body to go through? Esp, if you keep doing the same cycle? 6 months Bulk / 6 months Cut? (just an example) I mean... Isn't it alot to go from one extreme to the other from eating eating eating and lifting lifting lifting to cutting calories and cardio cardio cardio? I dont know why but I was just thinking about how rough this is? Or maybe Im just not seeing it right.... Hmmm... Any thoughts?

No, it's not rough on the body at all. Assuming you don't go overboard on either one. When you come off of a bulk your body is primed to lose weight. When you come off of a cut, your body is primed to gain muscle. It works very nicely.

Speaking from an evolutionary standpoint .. that's what humans have been doing since the beginning of time ... although not necessarily intentionally.

Humans have traditionally gone through feast/famine cycles ... when hunting was good it was a lot of hard work but a lot of good food. When hunting was poor activity was reduced and things got lean. Same with more agrarian societys ... planing and harvesting was hard work, and food was plentiful. During the winter food got more and more scarce and work was less ... until the spring came around again. It cycled with the seasons.

I don't see bulking/cutting being any different from that cycle unless it's taken to an extreme. :)

hehe... I hope cutting/bulking isn't as extreme as you described or I'm really doing things wrong :D hehehe in which case yes, it wouldn't be great for your body to be doing things so extreme

The human body is amazing and can adapt to many things, including cycles of bulking and cutting.

As Kara mentioned, from an evoluntionary standpoint humans have gone through phases where they have abundant food and phases where they have no food. It is natural for the body to experience this.

Although i don't know why you are going into your cut with tons of cardio unless you are using it for performance purposes. Yes, the human body was made for all sorts of physical activities from climbing and lifting to runing our food down, however if we look at it from a sole physique standpoint, it all falls to your diet.
