It's called a pasttime because you sleep through most of the game.

If you don't have a team to pay attention to in baseball that you've been watching for a while, you can't really have fun. Now that the Rays are eliminated, I have no reason to watch at all, I couldn't care less what happens the rest of the postseason. I'd rather watch a Raiders/49ers game than any of the semi final series games in baseball.

If the state of Texas wasn't disgusted with all of their football teams (pro and college), football would have won even with the Rangers in the playoffs.

Green got it right.

Ya ya, the south and ohio will bank on college football.

phags bank on baseball. Baseball season is over for all intents and purposes.

I can assure you everyone in Texas' biggest city(and most of Texas, that poll has just been flooded by Ranger fans) is more interested in the NFL. Texans are 3-2 with a win over the colts. It looks dim now, but there's been some key injuries/suspensions and the defense started very bad last year and eventually got better.

Huh? Not really, it's because no one gives a **** about baseball anymore. The playoffs should theoretically be the most interesting part of any sport.

The NFL playoffs are surely more entertaining to football fans, even if their favorite team isn't playing.

The point I found funny was that the semi-finals of all of baseball basically got beat out 2:1 by middle of the year, regular season football.

Eh, FSU vs BC, UF vs Miss St., and Miami vs Duke

As opposed to the Jags vs Titans on MNF and Miami vs Green Bay, I voted NFL this week.

Baseball doesn't have anything new. Its slow, long, boring and just old. There are a few things good about it, you can watch the football game and still when it finishes, you can watch the baseball game will be in the 6th inning or so. That is why they try to find something to give it spice to it like a steroid scandal. The worst thing in the world a person can do is use products to become better on the sport they perform. Yeah right. They got to bring back the juice to the game to make it interesting again. The stories about Roger Clemens taking steroids and Bonds blah blah. At the end, no one cares. Now I think MLB might be angry at congress because the game is so unpopular now.
