well after a hard 8 months of working out and lifting, i been off for the past 7 months or so, and now getting back into it, smarter this time and with more patience...

anyway the past week i just been doing push up drills getting the muscles and joints ready for some lifting again..i felt so weak just trying to knock out sets counting like so, 1 then 1,2 then 1,2,3, then 1,2,3,4 up to 10, take a 2 minute break then back down from 10..

i did this last night, and today, holy shyt, why are my lats , right under my arm pits the sorest part on my body..shoulders i feel a lil bit, tris a lil bit, and a lil on the outer chest area, but my traps are killing me...im so sore i fear getting down to do them tonight, lol

i think those are lats or serratus
i would stretch them out by hanging from door-frame or chin-bar

yes my lats are what are sore like i took a bunch of punches to them...

Your lats are sore because you have to use every muscle in your body to stabilize yourself, even if you don't feel it at the time.

Don't have the guts (well, have the gut part, anyway!) for pushups just yet.

stretched good before doing them yesterday, and feel good today, also did bench dips counting the same way..

by the end of next week i will be back into the weights..

Good job getting back after it. If your avi is current, it looks like you maintained pretty well, and should be back up to speed in no time.

hah, i wish my avi was current,seeing it is what made me realize im gross and need to get back into asap.. that was at the ending point of the 8 months i was working out, take that pic and lean it out 10lbs..that was at 178-180...back to 168-170 again..which is where my weight stays at for the most part...

But congrats for getting back at it. You still as lean as the last pics you posted on LXF?

Flex my brother..thanks for everything man,it took me seing a highschool friend not to long ago, whos long and lanky like myself, well was, and now hes still lean as ever at 4-5% body fat and muscles bulging with still mainting his thin fram, he looked great, no homo, and he actually put the fire underneath my azz,he gave me god tips, and said dont worry about buling fast, just eat clean work hard and let time take care of the rest.. where as before i was discouraging myself wanting to see results faster than they can happen. i admit i became way to lazy these off months..kept telling myself i gotta get back into it, i gota get back into it, well so much time went by saying that, i lost it all, give me a few i will post the full avi pic which was my best after 8 months of hard work and basicly where im at now again..instead of before and after it will be after and back to before, lol..

any guestimates on how long it will take me to snap back atleast into my shape i was in? i dont care if i have to work harder i want to be atleast back to where i was asap..(again u hear me trying to rush it, i have to really break that mentality)

excited to start the weight lifting again today, past 2 weeks has been all body weight excersizes, and getting my eating back on course..

bday was yesterday, and my lady treat me to a day of eating,lol 3 different resturants for breakfast,lunch,dinner, and i had nothing but 3 hard boiled eggs between each meal..

tried one of my samples of hemo rage black yesterday, it was great..

nice pump, i was more focused/concentrated, felt like i could go on and on...

today im extremely sore..but weird i did chest and triceps, and today my biceps are sore and tight right at the inner crease of my elbow/beginning of bicep..

i really dont cosider it a journal Flex, i never feel like typing up my whole routine, weight,sets, reps etc..

but it does feel good to be back at it again..

horrible workout yesterday, job had me raging, aggrevated all day, got home tried to take that rage out on the weights, wasnt happening, i just wasnt into it, did 2 sets of db press, and tossed the dumbells , so loud my 9 year old son cam running , thinking i got hurt...

today i will hit chest tris again with back and bi's, try to make up for yesterday, if that makes sense...
