The games been out a few months and ive heard nothing about it

while in development, it was one of the most anticipated and hyped games i can remember

i never played it, but i wanted to, and forgot about until just now when i was watching the new Silent Hill trailer

anyone play it? what did you think

im in the middle of it right now, and i have to say its pretty damn entertaining and keeps you on the edge of your seat. the game play is pretty unique.

I'm waiting until I see a really, really good deal on the limited edition copy, and I'ma buy it. I'm thinking 20-30 dollar range, I'll find it on some online closeout at Newegg or Amazon.

Two reasons: (a) I heard the game is awesome, as Fwill said, and (b) it'll look kinda cool on my bookshelf.

oh and I guess (c) the LE comes with the first DLC for free.

its not as scary as i expected, but really fun. its very much like a stephen king book played out.

fwiw, i got the regular edition and it came with the first DLC for free. i bought the 2nd but have yet to play it.

I liked it. Kept me entertained. I didn't finish the 1st DLC before I sold the game. I didn't like it all it was weird.

does it play like RE5 or Dead Space w/ the slower 3rd person pace and shi!t popping out from time to time creating chaos moments?

Don't buy it. Rent it. Once you beat it that's about it. It's a great story and it's like someone above said a Stephen King book played out. The game looks great and is very creepy. It's not a horror game like Resident Evil but more of a suspense thriller type of game.

I got about halfway through the game before I had to take it back to Blockbuster. It was pretty entertaining, but I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I wanted because I just wanted to skip everything and just beat the game already. Some parts are fairly difficult to complete, but you'll definitely be involved the whole time.
