Ok So in the stupid question thread parabody was listed as a quality rack. I have found one for sale along with bench and weights for about 600.00. I tried googling parabody to compare prices and came up with nothing. Did they stop producing power racks and should that be a concern to me if say it is missing dip bars.

Yes, they quit making the racks. Finding accessories will be hard. For dips you can place 2 bars across the safety-arms. 600 does seem high.

Parabody was purchased by Life Fitness quite a few years ago, and stopped making free weight equipment a few years later. Their racks are quite durable (rated at 1000lbs capacity) for their home units and well over 1000lbs for their commercial units. $600 for the rack/bench and weights seems fair for the quality.

I agree w/DC. If the bench is a good one and there is a reasonable amount of weight (300#+), then 6 bills is decent.

I'll vouch for Parabody's quality. I've got a room full of their stuff, the majority of it at least 10 years old, and all still going strong.
As others have said, any accessories you might want would be tough to track down.

Good quality. Look on newyorkbarbells.com[/url] for attachments some of them may fit.
