Where can I get equipment parts?

I don't mean replacements; I'm thinking of building a cable crossover with a wooden frame. No kidding. I figure I'll need cables, pulleys, plate sleds, etc.... I thought about just getting two cheap lat attachments, then modifying and mounting them.

Anyone have a source?
