Well, I think I finally found a place on the internet I'd rather be than facebook! I'm glad I got here in time for my first transformation contest. Well here's a little history to why I'm even on this site, in high school I became interested in lifting when I was made fun of for being one of the smaller guys. Next thing I knew and to everyone's surprise I was one of the biggest guys in school over a year of lifting hard.

Another reason I lift is because I play football. College football has taken me some time to get used to because where I used to be stronger faster than other players, is not the same case! So recently I finally found some motivation to hit the weights harder! Now that I found a girl I'd like to keep I wanna not only become stronger, but become more cut. I'm thinking I want to make a move from linebacker to running back as well. So throughout this competition will I not only be trying to gain muscle, but also get that rock hard body and lose most of my body fat that was used as extra weight to make tackles on the field. I'm not sure what my body fat is and probably won't find out seeing as I work out in the athletic department's weight room. But I can keep track of my weight, PRs, and how I see myself.

Today was the first day that I wrote down all that I did and if anybody is interested in what I ate or what my workout consisted of today let me know and I will paste it into this thread even though the competition hasn't started I'm gonna get a head start on this thing!

Week 1:
Day 1:

Weight: 208 1/2lbs

9:30 – Breakfast (3 egg whites, scrambled eggs, biscuit, gravy, sausage, 1 glass apple juice, granola + raisins +honey)
10-11:00 – Class
11:30-12 – Lunch (Cured ham, mac and cheese, bowl of salad, 1 glass of Gatorade)
1:30 – Workout ..PWO (PresurgeUnleashed) / Postworkout shake – nitropeak 2 rice cakes with peanut butter
3:30 – Practice, Conditioning (4 full gassers: 4x50yard sprints=1gasser)
5:30 – Dinner (1 grilled pork chop, herb roasted potato wedges, 1 slice of pizza)
7:30 – Myoplex
9:00 – Cardio (Treadmill running)
9:30 – Sandwich (2 slices of whole wheat bread, 1 slice low fat cheese, 6 slices cured roast beef sandwich meat)

Workout:
Jump rope 2minutes
Stretch
Back Squat - 4x10 225lbs
Machine single leg extension - 3x10 45lbs
Machine leg curls - 3x10 45lbs
Calf raises - 3x30 450lbs
Bodyweight dips - 3x10
ABS: 2 sets (v-sit situpsx20, bicycle x 20, toe touches x 20)


Notes: First day=success. I’m feeling it in my legs, going to be a rough practice tomorrow

Day 2:

Weight: 206lbs

11:00 – Workout PWO(PSU) / Postworkout (NitroPeak)
12:30-2:30 – Class
2:30 – Lunch (All American hero sub (Turkey Ham Roast beef lettuce onion on monterray cheddar bread)
3:45-5:20 Practice, Conditioning
5:40 – Dinner
6:00-8:00 – Class
7:30 – myoplex
9:30 – Sandwich

Workout:
Warm up/Stretch
Bench Press – 5x5 (205, 215, 225, 225)
DB Bench Press – 3x8 (70lbs)
DB Incline BP – 3x10 (25lbs)
Butterflies – 3x10 (25lbs)
Incline trap cycle 3x10 Y’s T’s & shrug cleans
Cable tricep pushdowns – 3x10 (140lbs)
Cable Bicep Curls – 3x10 (100lbs)
Band Bicep Curls – 3x30
Med. Ball Pushups – 2x10 (arms/chest were dead by the 2nd set)
ABS: (30 sec bicycles. 30 sec flutter kicks. 20 twisting sit ups) x2

thanks, my legs are still sore from mondays workout. my chest and upper arms are a little but good thing today is an off day

got a good two days of workout in this week..ttryin to keep my diet is getting harder but its fall break so hopin to get into the swing of things next week

Got my first workout today in, finally over being sick.. it wasn't bad. felt good to be in the gym. Cant wait to start back hard next monday!

I think I have been disqualified for not posting within two weeks. I really wish I could continue, but its hard finding time to get on here as much as I did before. I'm still in the weight room trying to cut down. But hey, if I can't be in it for the prizes I will continue to work anyways. Best of luck to all the competitors
