I'm on a cut, and I have been doing well sticking to my meal plan, but find that it is impossible to stay on it when my girlfriend comes over. She is Italian and knows her way around the kitchen, she made legit Italian Lasgana, and wow I ate like 3 plates of it.

So basically I dont have strong enough will power to stay on course for my goals, how do you guys stay strict if you have a girl that cooks really good meals that are "bad" for your cut.

Commitment...and no sex of course.

If you already have a hot girlfriend then there is no need to cut! ;)

talk to her... there is alot of great italian food that is healthy(ish) lol im italian, ask her to make eggplant lasanga... no pasta... get her involved! talk to her about the issue as "your food is amazing! and i cannot help myself when you make such great food but i need to cut so can we please work together?"

This is probably your best approach ^^^ IMHO, I am also a great cook, so it can be frustrating when my hubby only wants salad.... so I challenge myself to make healthy things taste good. If your hot gf is a keeper, then talk to her about your goals and see if she can figure out how to make her food more healthy. Also, you may want to commit to a once per (whateever) cheat meal so she can make something spectacular for you -- she obviously enjoys showing off her (uh, cooking) skills to you. On the other hand, if she's not willing to work with you on this, you may think about what life would be like longer term.....

How would I do it?

By only eating 1 plate instead of 3 there bud.

if you enjoy her cooking so much, why don't you figure out a way to work it into your daily macros. no such thing as "bad food". it is all energy in the end.

you would be surprised how much food you can overeat. And unless OP is an endurance athlete, i doubt he can burn what he over ate through exercise.

Seriously, dieting is a lot easier when you eat foods you enjoy. The best diet is one you can adhere too. If you want a cookie then have one. You want lasgna? Then enjoy it.

If you hit your protein and calorie goals for the day then nothing else matters. Restricting foods you love will eventually lead to binging

First thing you should do is mention it to the gf. If she has no idea what you are trying to accomplish, she can't be supportive. Maybe let her know what types of ingedients you are trying to limit at the moment. Ideally, you would tell her how fantastic her cooking is, and you would love it if she would try out a couple of your favourite recipes that you'd like to include as part of your new regime. If you say it right, and compliment her at the same time, she shouldn't get insulted. Then you'll just have to print out a few body building recipes for her.

Second, if you are eating her cooking, and you know it is something that isn't going to help you get to your goals then at least remind yourself this is not the last time you will eat this food. If you only eat one piece, remember how many leftovers that leaves for another time.

Third, put yourself in control more. If you know you'll give in, offer to make her dinner instead. You'll stay on track and score major points with her anyway.

Good luck.

Hot girlfriend who can also cook? Does she make 6 figures too? I'll bet you also have a pet unicorn.

Just talk to her about it. I'm lucky enough to have a gf who us just as into fitness and nutrition as I am, so whenever she cooks it's amazing AND usually cut friendly. Like last night she made peanut butter cookies with all natty pb, olive oil (replacing butter), cinnamon, almond extract, and a little brown sugar, they were incredible :)

I want to order something, but can you just go to a bank and give them money in cash to place on someone's account, even if you do not have an account in that bank?

I subscribe to Insider Score, and that is correct there has been scant insider buying. Insider Score's market wide buying indicator tracks very closely my sentiment indicators.

which they are not. The cashier recounted to me in Japanese each item she rang up, not that I understood what she was saying.

hard to do... mine gets offended when I wont eat her food. But I have to stay focussed this time. I'm ordering a cook book with Health Conscious Recipes.. that way she still feels that she is in control...

What is it that matters most your girlfriend or your health.

This is hillarious but in reality it does happen to many of us. The best thing you can do without hurting her is to let her cook for you on your rest day! You can eat as much as you can knowing for the fact you've worked out hard the entire week!

Wow, I can't even concentrate on the question anymore because of stupid helan.

But seriously, tell your gf. Then let her cook one cheat MEAL (read MEAL, not DAY) for you. Only eat until you are full, not stuffed. 1x/wk cheat will give something to work towards, but be warned, slip up a litte or miss a workout/cardio and no cheat for you!
