Hey all. I am currently interested in dropping about 25 lbs of fat. I am in the gym 5 days a week doing relatively low weight/high rep stuff. As far as cardio goes when is the best time and at what intensity should I be doing? I have done some research on this site but there is not really a consensus. Currently I do 30 mins of moderate cardio (HR~160) after lifting weights for 1.5 hrs. Is this counter productive to gaining lean muscle? Would it be better to do light cardio in the morning and @ night, several hours before and after weightlifting? Thanks.

id drop weights to an hour max and concentrate on diet and add more cardio good luck

diet is the most importaint part

continue doing cardio right after weights and bump it up to about 60mins?

Yeah I am getting my diet on lock so that should not be a problem. Just want to maxamize my cardio because I hate doing it....so if I could get away with doing less that would be nice. Looks like I will just have to suck it up and bust out some serious cardio for about an hour after my workouts?
