Oh most definitely Rich, and very much looking forward to it too!
Preparations are coming along nicely, flights and accommodation are booked, my tan has arrived, and tomorrow, I'm going for my preliminary costume fitting. So, it's all starting to feel very real - and very exciting!
I'd always intended to take last year off from competition, but whilst it was the right thing to do at the time for many reasons, I really missed competing at the Worlds - and missed the many friends my husband and I have made whilst there. So, roll on November 13th, we say!
Look forward to finally meeting you in person, Rich.

Hey Jordan, I really hope you are shooting in NYC - the pics you took of me last time were the best I've ever had. Even if you're not shooting, please come and say "hello!"
I keep in touch with Jon quite regularly. Sandra, his wife, and I get along really well, and they are parents to a gorgeous little girl, who keeps them on their toes. I bet he'd love to catch up with you.

Rich...That means a lot to me...thank you, in all honesty I am never really 100% happy with my work, Im always looking for a way to make them better.
It was a busy day, I cant believe how many photos I took, 14 hours straight of standing, I think I got a little delirious at one point, Charlie said something to me and my response was completely random and weird!! haha!!

I am more than happy to step in and help out again at any point! Its great just to have another chance to see everyone again.

Jons little one is Olivia right! She must be almost 3 at this point I would think...I definitely need to shoot him a note.
Please tell him I said hey, and I will be sure to stop in and see ya at the worlds.

Good luck Cheryl!

Great to hear! Welcome back Champ! With yourself, Kathy Unger, Brenda, Jennie Napoli, Toni West, Deborah Day and Leah Raynes, it should be quite a show.

My goodness, it certainly will be! I hope there are enough ladies to split into two weight classes again - I just think it adds to that competitve edge, but it'll be great whichever!

Thanks Jordan ;-)

Yes, Olivia is two and a half now - a proper little girl, absolutely beautiful, with dark, curly hair like her mom.

Yes, Women's bodybuilding is picking up in the WNBF. One of my goals was to help rebuild that area of the sport and the turnout this year has improved so far.

That's great to hear, Rich! I've been following the results avidly this year, and it's fantastic to see such top-quality competitors coming through. I'm certainly looking forward to the challenge again, and I'm pretty dashed sure that Kathy Unger (and indeed all the girls) will present a formidable package after her lay-off; quality doesn't just fade away!
It all inspires me to work even harder!

Women's bodybuilding seems to wax and wane like the moon in popularity, and from talking to many of my friends, and other girls involved in our sport, I dont think there's any one single reason why it sometimes appears to go through a bit of a lull before picking up again.

Nancy Andrews' article in a previous edition of NB&F was a good one, addressing some interesting and valid issues within the sport. Even in this day and age, the more muscular appearance of the female bodybuilder is not universally well-liked, and most women who enter a gym have an almost pathological fear of developing muscle. However, even with the popularity of the Figure and Fitbody classes (which, incidently, I love), I still believe there is room for women's bodybuilding to grow and prosper. Having people within the sport like yourself, Nancy, Karen Miller and others, working hard to promote it and to push it forwards can only be a good thing.

X-Man Paul, what a fantastic response! I'm glad you're looking forward to the women's classes; I'm sure we won't let you down!
