View Full Version : Tingling pulse down back of arms
Whenever I get done doing tricep exercises, such as skull crushers, and then flex my arm with a simple extension motion down, my arms feel like a little electrical pulse goes through it. Like a tingling feeling. It's not there unless i fully extend/flex it in a downward motion.
This happens in both arms.
Has anyone experienced this? Is this nerve damage?

It sounds nerve related. Any previous injuries to your neck and/or cervical disc issues?

Not that i'm aware of. I have a weaker serattus anterior on my left side that drives me nuts. It feels like my shoulder blade is out of place or something. I had the doc check it out and had physical therapy. That seemed to help, so I'm back in the gym after about a year hiatus, but it's coming back.
A couple of weeks ago I took 2 scoops of Shock Therapy, and I didn't even have to work out and I felt that shock feeling all through my body and just felt terrible. I'll never take it again.

Try a lower weight and work only the muscle your intending to work and feel it work. Give it a go.

Thanks! Have you experienced the serattus weakness where it feels like it's not in the right place? Or weaker?

Yeah, I just lowered the weight to a more of a "comfort zone" which enabled me to use the muscle i was intending to use rather than other muscles combined with the working muscle to cheat the weight. Since then I have stopped doing exercises which hurt un naturally to eliminate injury. If it hurts dont do it, just use a comfortable weight.

There are some exercises where the body is not designed to do. I do not do skull crushers because I get the same problem as you do, I also do not do straight bar curls as I get the same problem in my forearm... Instead I just choose another exercise which works the same body part just aswell but without the pain or risk of damangeing any nerves or tendons. As I said if it hurts dont do it, its not worth it and there are plenty of exercises to choose from which work just aswell as the so "popular" ones... Hope that helps.
