Ugh. The point where no matter how much you try to avoid it, all you can think about is food... the one part of prep I don't miss. For me it didn't happen until I was pretty close to show ready.

Seeing as how I'm the one that started The Food Porn thread, I have to say I love it! I watch Man vs Food, Cupcake Wars, Food Network, and I read food blogs all day. Hell, sometimes I just walk into bakeries and look around. My friends and family don't understand I can't even explain it myself, but it's very therapeutic.

I picked up a friends hamburger the other day while he was out of the room. He bought two and saved one for later. I unwrapped it, examined it, sniffed it, and re wrapped it. He never knew. ;)
