Key Attributes:

- Serum GH level enhancement
- Deeper, more restful, sleep
- Promote muscle strength and size
- Supports overall health and endothelial function
- Enhanced skin and sexual benefits
- No PCT required

Growth and regeneration are the top requirements that bodybuilders and athletes are always looking for. These two elements are what can make or break an athlete in a particular sport and why so many have turned to HGH (Human Growth Hormone) supplementation. HGH is largely responsible for these two relished bodily processes amongst top athletes and amateurs alike. This hormone is the key to true growth. However, there is one big issue, it’s a prescription drug and only available legally via a prescribing physician!

If there were a way to increase the HGH your body produces naturally in the pituitary gland and thereby the amount your muscle and other bodily tissues can absorb, this would serve a similar purpose as exogenous HGH supplementation. Luckily there are phytochemicals found naturally in select herbs that can effectively act to inhibit your body’s mechanism for reducing HGH output.

Controlled Labs has harnessed these powerful herbs and combined them with other compounds that have been shown to effectively enhance sleep patterns: another crucial element of growth. The only name befitting a supplement of this magnitude is Blue GrowtH™. Blue GrowtH™ will not only help to enhance your overall performance but also sleep, sexual stamina, and a host of other benefits that are common to supplementation with this wonderful hormone.

Who said muscle mass needs to come with nasty side effects? Now you can enhance your physique and maintain exceptional health with Blue GrowtH™!

I just recently finished my first natural bodybuilding competitive season where and I'm currently reverse dieting to get my metabolism/health back in check and start a nice 2-3 year offseason.

Some pics from my shows:

I'll be logging my workouts and recording strength/performance, quality of sleep, and overall mood as well as other things such as skin quality.

Thanks to Dracoy and Controlled Labs for the opportunity. Time to get huuuuge!:D

-REALLY pressed for time today..finished it in ~30 minutes, but everything felt really nice and easy.
-Moving into college tomorrow! As far as reverse diet macros I'll be eyeballing a lot of things, and whatever I eat in my room I'll probably weigh for at least a few weeks. I've been messing around seeing how good my estimates are with the scale..and I'm within 3g almost every time!! Prep turned my eyes into a food scale.

-Took my first dose today ~60 minutes before my pre bed meal..Not much to note on yet.

Idk about being bigger lol. My trainer was Alberto Nunez and the guys at www.3dmusclejourney.com who I would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat! At my first show I placed 1st in Juniors and Novice Medium, then went on to win the Novice Overall. At my second show I took 2nd in Juniors and 4th in Open Lightweight.

Okay, okay so I'm still here just been busy with my first few days of college and trying to get the internet situation down. I'm walking soo much, no doubt my expenditure will be much higher while on campus. College is great, food is great, and the gym is SICK. I joined up at a local powerlifting gym which is straight hardcore. Chalk, Iron, and 300+ lb guys everywhere. Ben White trained there for a while and it was on an older MD video. People putting up ~700 on bench..so this place is NO joke. It's the perfect environment to get this off season going.

Notes:
-Slowly working my strength back up, but things just feel heavier than they should. After a few more weeks on this old routine I'll switch the WS template up a bit and work on some new compounds.
-Sticking around 158-159 which is about 6lbs up from pre show weight, and I had a macros bump a few days ago (+5 fat, +25 cho) that puts me at 60/365/195

-I've been dosing BlueGrowtH every night about an hour before my pre bed meal. The past few days I've only been getting ~5-7 hours of sleep, which is about what I was getting toward the end of prep, but I honestly have been waking up pretty well rested...on top of all the walking/stress recently. But Placebo is a strong effect, and I'm still giving it some time. Future looks promising though

Probably has something be do with being so far below my set point and just generally overtrained towards the end of contest prep. Off today today, and I did my MISS session, 25 minutes running through my campus cross country course. Ran a good 3-4 miles, but soon after my left knee was killing me with a stabbing pain. I've felt it before and running on hard surfaces aggravates my chondromalatia patella..just popped some Ibuprofen and I'll keep the MISS to the track or cardio machines :/

Sleep- Again..really great. Blue Growth is doing what it says, and I'm liking it!

New Macros:
60-65/400/190-210

Sitting ~159-160 which is 6-7lbs over contest weight 3 weeks ago. Should get things moving slowly.

Notes:
-the box squats were pretty upsetting because they've been a struggle for weeks, probably because i introduced them a little heavier than i should have. I've been using box squats as my main compund on lower ME days for a loong time now and a new routine after i get my strength moving is reaaaally needed. I'll probably switch over to free squats to get the movement down before starting the next routine.

- sleep again was awesome. Somethig i'm really noticing lately with the blue growth. Can't really comment on recovery since i'm still getting into the swing of things.

- so my compounds are still staying where they are...which is pretty annoying, but oher lifts seem to be increasing. It seems like anything out of the low rep range is increasing, so i'm assuming that im adapting to the stress and next the heavier lifts are going to be going up...but i may just have introduced the main lifts a bfit.heavier than i should have. Time will tell
- another amazing night of sleep. I'm not one to jump the gun on supplement claims but honestly blue growth has got to be doing something. I havent wokenup this well rested on a daily basis in a long time, but i'm sure the increased food and bodyfat is playing a role

Okay, so pretty much it's in ABAB format, but there's really only 2 days where the rep/set ranges change whether it's a power/hyper day. It'll allow me to hit a movement frequently with, what I believe to be a pretty solid amount of volume from the WS template I've been running so long.

I'll be running a set of exercises for 4+ weeks, introducing some new movements at ~75% max and then working up to new PR's. Periodization baybay!

Key thing to note here is that I'll be focusing on deadlifting for a while since it's been out of my routine for so long. SO deadlift for a while, squat for a while, repeat...we'll see how this works in a bit.

Props to Eric for hooking me up with the template since I tend to go ADD when looking at routine :p

Notes:
-Okay, so really glad to be deadlifting again, 315 x 4 isn't exactly thrilling when I was doing 465+ back in the day, but I have time and I know it'll go up. On the bright side though I was able to add weight to GHR's..sweet.

-Starting to feel more like the old Zak more often then not..bout damn time! Just an overall feeling of well-being and a good mood...those of you who have gone through a prep know what I'm talking about.

Misc
I upped my water intake and the glutes are still there..haha. Damn post contest fat storage! Another thing I've noticed is that there's definitely something weird going on and I think it has a lot to do with ghrelin/leptin levels being all over the place after prep. Pretty much I'll get really hungry, then I go to sit down and eat, but BEFORE I even take one bite I get this physical feeling of fullness. It's realllyyy weird. The only thing I can think of is that my mind sends the signal "food's here" and since my hormones are sorta stabilizing as I move back into my set-point ghrelin gets signaled sooner than it should be. It's been happening really often too so something's up.

-Weights up ~1.5-2lbs this week with going well over my numbers last weekend and finding out I've been underestimating my cereal 2-3x a day adding 20-60g cho a day. So I'm not too upset with that, moreso curious to see how this week will play out on track.

Notes:
-Best workout in a long time! Everything felt great, PR's like nothing and I was in the zone.

-High rep calve work destroyed me, need to foam roll or tomorrow's going to suck.lol

This week weight has pretty much remained constant at ~166 (12lbs up 7 weeks post) and my psychological cravings have died down a lot. That coupled with the way I've been doing in the gym, I think I'm nearing my settling point. My guess is I'll see a macro bump in the next 2 weeks.

Today was a good day :)

2 days left with BlueGrowtH, review coming up soon!

Okay, so I've been pretty busy with school, but here's my workout from Saturday at a different gym than usual. The equipment was pretty similar except for the bench which was really low to the ground.

Upper Strength
175 x 5
175 x 4
175 x 4

BB Row
195 x 6 (3 sets)

BB Shoulder Press
120 x 5 (3 sets) up 5lbs

Lat Pulldown
160 x 8 (2 sets) Up 10lbs

OH Tricep extensions
50 x 12 (2 sets) up 10lbs

BB Curls
95 x 8
95 x 7

Notes:
-Bench wasn't really where I wanted it, but still added a rep

-Lifting in bright lit gym makes me look completely different than in my dark, dungeon like PL gym.lol. Didn't know I was that vascular or round with a pump :)

Hybrid Deadlift
335 x 5
335 x 5
335 x 4

Leg Press
8p/side x 8 PR+2 reps
8p/side x 8
8p/side x 11 PR+5 reps

GHR
bw+25 x 8 PR+2 reps
bw+25 x 7
bw+25 x 6

BSS
90 x 11 PR+3 reps

Notes:
-Had to catch the bus so I didn't get to finish the last 2 movements. I'll just do calves tomorrow with my cardio.

-Deadlifts up a rep, but wasn't in the 6-8 range I wanted. Only got a few hours of sleep the past 2 nights because I was up studying all night, so that was definitely a factor.

-Weight was steady in the 166's last week so my macros stayed the same as my baseline numbers. So my numbers are 70/425/210 and I just stay within them by 10-15/75/40 every day. A nice flexible offseason, and I'll keep the weight gain right at ~2lbs a month. Maybe run an aggressive mini when I'm 25-30lbs over contest weight. (around 12-14 right now)

-BlueGrowtH got finished a few days ago, full review coming tomorrow!

BB Bench
165 x 6
165 x 5
165 x 7 (got a spotter) up a rep

BB Row
195 x 9 Up 3 reps
195 x 8
195 x 9

Seated BB Shoulder Press
120 x 8 (2 sets) Up 3 reps
120 x 6

OH Tricep Extension
50 x 12
50 x 15 PR

Short BB Curls
30/side x 12 PR
30/side x 10

Notes:
-I've come to realize I'll probably have to be more modest with my bench increases each week. I won't add weight until I can clearly get all sets out of the targeted rep range.

-Weights been weird past few days..up a pound each day while hitting same macros..I think lack of sleep/stress/caffeine on top of the already screwed hormones are just making me hold water...yeah, gotta switch to decaf lol

Final Review

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t289/controlledlabs/BlueGrowth_FAQ.jpg

So when I started this log I had recently competed in my first bodybuilding competition and I was coming off of a 9-10 month contest prep diet. My sleep (whatever I did get) wasn't optimal, I had terrible energy levels, no sense of well being...pretty much what happens when you're chillen with lines in your culo!

Dose:
45-60 minutes before my pre bed meal.

Sleep:
This is really where BlueGrowtH shined. It's been a long time since I slept like I did while supplementing with this. Waking up more rested, even with only few hours of sleep. I wouldn't be waking up in the middle of the night every hour, not being able to fall back asleep. The effects REALLY surprised me.

The past few days I've ran out of it and I've also been sleeping less and less, granted I had a lot of studying to do all night, only a few weeks before I was feeling much more energized on the same amount of sleep.

Strength Gain:
Coming off of a contest prep and losing 50lbs my strength had decreased quite a bit, but after increasing my food intake and slowly getting back into my offseason with the help of BlueGrowtH I've been seeing some pretty nice gains in strength over the past few weeks ranging from 1-4 reps gained per workout. Not yet to my old offseason numbers, but I'm also 40lbs lighter right now.

Sense of Well-being:
Just like the sleep quality, I could slowly feel myself getting back into my old mindset over the past month. Of course some of this was due to the increase in food consumption, but seeing how BlueGrowtH affected sleep, this isn't getting ruled out just like that :)

Overall
Brutally honest, of course there's going to be some overlap among the effects with the transition from a contest prep diet into an offseason phase and BlueGrowtH supplementation, but in my opinion seeing how well rested I was feeling I'm definitely giving it to BlueGrowtH.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone seeking to have a better night's sleep, and I think that it's properties would really shine in a caloric defecit- when people usually lack to most sleep and could use the most recovery!
