Am actually talking to someone about this right now via PM. Apparently your easiest option/best bet is to buy an already jtagged console. You have to remember if you jtag your main one, it is going to be banned from XBL very quickly. So you might wanna have one jtagged for single player stuff, and then your normal one.

I had a Jtag but it kept on getting banned every 48 hours, but I just kept getting new keyvaults, Jtagging isn't hard if you know what you gotta do and you gotta be pretty good using a solder gun, if you're not best option is to buy an already jtagged one and keep it offline.

Yeah, I'm wanting to get my old Elite jtagged, I have a regular with an Elite harddrive I'll use for main gaming.

Yea, i have a jtagged xbox. If you don't know what you doing you can screw up the system. Even when its jtagged you don't wanna save anything on internal memory and erased the whole jtag, system was prettymuch worthless until the guy flashed it and jtagged again. So, if you don't know what you doing your best bet is to go to www.xbox-scene.com and read up on guides there or you can already buy jtagged console on their forums buy/sell/trade section.
