Hello everyone,
I was referred to this website by a friend of mine who is a bodybuilder. I am 29 and I want to be comfortable in a bikini by my 30th birthday celebration trip to the bahamas! I have been working out for 4 years on and off and I have lost 50 pounds since I had my children but I can't seem to shed the last 40 pounds. I have started a new plan and would like some tips on whether I am doing this right or not. I am 5'6" and weigh 185. I would like to drop the last 40 pounds and be toned before my trip in May. Please review my plan and give me tips! I need your help!
morning - 25g protein powder (gold standard) with 1 cup 1% milk
5 egg whites, broccoli, onion, 1 slice reduced fat cheese, 1t olive oil
Mid morning - 100 calorie pack of dry roasted almonds, cantalope
Lunch - grilled chicken breast, vegetable/lentil soup
Mid afternoon - apple, greek (sweetened) yogurt
Dinner - lean beef/chicken, salad with light balsamic dressing and 1 t olive oil, broccoli
after dinner - 25 g protein powder and 1 cup 1% milk
Work outs - 5 days a week for 45 min-1 hour. I usually do one day upper body and one day lower body, I typically do 2 days of abs/cardio and one day is strictly cardio. My cardio is a mixture of the elliptical and treadmill. I do interval training or use the incline on the treadmill.
I am also taking supplements. I take green tea, Lipo 6, L-Carnetine, and Chromium Piconate.
Please give me advice! I am not showing the results that I want and the scale is not moving!
