Final Fantasy 13....Watchu think?

I don't know what to think about this game.
1. It's hard to follow the nomemclature of everything. The lcie, falcie, etc. what the hell? I feel like I'm playing a game that JRR Tolkein produced.
2. The "main" character is a chick, when I saw this I wtf'd. Sorry guise but i'm old skool

However, the storyline seems to be decent (only at chapter 2).

Thought the game sucked IMO. I've played almost every FF and this was just a huge let-down. I thought the Characters sucked (Lightning was alright, Fang was cool too but pretty much everyone else was just cheesy). Not too many sidequests till Cie'th Stones, but the chain of quests (which you pretty much NEED to do to get the best gear, even though the Final Boss is a fukkin joke) are just really annoying and just made me want to kill myself without a strat guide. I went in, kicked the Final Boss' ass (found myself saying "Uhhh... is this it?") and then spent the rest of my time using the Death trick to kill Adam's for ultimate weapons. Overall I gave the game a 5.75/10, rent if you're REALLY bored and unless you're a serious FF collector do not buy this game.

sucked. i am replaying final fantasy 4 for the 10th time because its actually fun and a compelling story. I couldn't even make it to disc 3 of FF13

huge letdown sad i pre-orderd it. the story got a bit confusing i agree to many things with lcie in it i had a hard time keeping track wtf is what. game was waay to linear and the one place you get side missions was complete crap.

basically the fal'cie are the superiors, and the l'cie are their subordinates. the l'cie are given a special focus that they must fulfill. not too complicated.

and btw, the chick is on the box art.... just sayin'
