Hello,
I'm interested in high quality reading regarding metabolic slowdown and repair.
I have read Leigh Peele's literature. 8 week repair plan (nutrition and training).
In Lyle McD's literature, I find references to eating at maintenance levels for at least two weeks in RFL, but nothing re: training.
Can you point me towards any texts, authors, etc?
Also, I'd like to hear from you if you did LP's Metabolic Repair or have gone through any other such journey.
Thanks!

Always continue to train. I've heard about Metabolic Repair and it seems to be a decent idea from what synopsis i've read.
IT doesn't make physiological sense to me for any kind of lifting to slow down your metabolism or halt metabolism gains.
It really doesn't make sense for lifting to not speed up your metabolism from it's previous level. Cell repair is costly, and its prioritized in the body.
I've followed Lyle's advice on the diet break and while i dont have any solid proof, i've never regretted going on a diet break. Especially when i get back into the swing of things. I think Martin Berkhan did a book review of some of Peele's stuff on his website www.leangains.com Gotta look around for the blog post.
Btw Looking good (yes hetero).

I'm interested in hearing from others, also. I downloaded Leigh Peele's book several months ago but have yet to try it - can't seem to stop overtraining!
