Hey, my mom was complaining to me yesterday about how no matter what she does she cant lose ANY weight. She looks very good for her age but she just wants to lose about 7lbs. She has always exercised of and on since I remember so she is in decent shape. Right now she is about 5'3" and 117lbs, 39 yrs old. Since she was 18 she has always weighed like 110lbs and she wants to be down there again. Can anyone tell me how much exercise she should be doing, how much she should be eating, etc.? Itd be a lot of help! Thanks

Fitness isn't measured in lbs. If her bodyfat isn't too high, she's not overweight. Does she exercise?

yea, she exercises. and she does have bodyfat that she could lose, but she doesnt look anywhere near fat or anything.

She could just exercise more, and end up with less fat. What I'm saying is that she shouldn't concentrate on the weight since that's really irrellevant. Someone who's 5'3 and 110 pounds can be a lot flabbier than another person who's 5'3" and 130.

Have you seen bufchk's pictures? She's 5'2" and some of her pics were when she was 140-145lbs and didn't look flabby at all.
