Pretty cool documentary on what may happen when we achieve the technology to possibly go to another star system.

Haha yeah, mostly speculation, But I really enjoyed it. If you take a look at the guy who posted the vids, he has a lot of really good ones to check out.

OP I watched it - it was interesting at some points, boring at others.
I hate when videos like these spend time on issues that their target audience already knows about.
What I mean is that anyone who is watching this is obviously intelligent, and aware of the issues on Earth. So don't talk to me about starving people and climate change. I'm well aware (as I'm sure all of you are) of WHY we need to get off Earth.
Spend more time talking about HOW we're gonna do it! :)
Otherwise, great video - thanks and repped..
Oh and pro-tip - watch on YouTube's site (not embedded), and turn on 720p HD, hit fullscreen, and enjoy!!!

I watched the whole thing. In addition to anti-matter technological capabilities, I think we also need to make huge advances in quantum entanglement. Otherwise, once we get there, it will take over 4 years for any transmissions to reach us regarding possible life or whatever. We need instantaneous communication.

And on supporting poor people and ****.
We could multi NASAs budget by like 100 if we stopped warfare, and eliminated much of the government systems that are in place to support the lower levels of society.
No Hitler or anything, but if you're on welfare, haven't worked in 10 years (and there is nothing wrong with you other than you're lazy), please stop sucking the tit of america. Ditto rapists we keep alive in jail, and other serious criminals that we can't just kill off, we have to ****ing keep alive and keep contained for their remainder.
yes mad.
