What Is eRepublik Rising?
eRepublik Rising is the recently upgraded version of eRepublik. It's is a huge web-based browser game that incorperates political, economical and military modules. You join as a citizen of your country and play the part of grunt who works his way up in the world. Starting from the bottom the game can be pretty limited however as you progress you unlock more and more features allowing you to become more active.
As I mentioned the game has just been upgraded and so there are a few bugs and issues with the programming, the war module is also being finished and so the game should be fully up and running by the end of the week.

Depends on the war module.
For all the critics, the module should be better than the beta was. With more ppl online at once and with further tweeks in some departments it should be a lot more fun to play.

Fixed and I meant to say it to you about your auto skill migrations. There was a chap in our IRC channel a couple days ago and he had sent a load of tickets to the admin saying he was away on holiday and that he wasn't here for the skill migrations.

Make up a Bull**** reason brah and just ticket what % skills you want to migrate. Do it annually until they reply to you.

Okay well now you need to allocate your time.
Each hour you spend doing something subtracts 1 point from happiness. But each hour you spend resting at the residential district you gain a point. Always use the booster that requires 0.00 gold.

For now i suggest you work/study for ~13 hours a day and then rest for ~11, so you don't need to spend much on food (buy the cheapest you can get atm) and you'll find your ropes and then make up what you wanna do and how much time you wanna spend.

Read the guides up on the first post though. Literally the hardest part of the game will be the first day or two when you have no clue what to do lol. If you don't stuff up now, it'll make it easier for you.

Right now the only job that isn't paying crap, is harvesting. Every other profession is paying shyt all. So it might be a good idea to look at that.

Wouldn't recommend it at this point. Most of the jobs are in Interior and the guy who runs sh*t is a real d-bag, imo at least. You could apply in the State dept, but it's difficult and you have to deal with other country's people who are often pieces of crap who hate the US.

If you are interested in helping people I would suggest either with CDP or the Mentor program. The first mass mails noobs each day and works to get in touch and help retain them (I actually developed and implemented this) and I believe is run by Herr Nichols, the Mentors, I'm not sure who's running, but I could find out if you needed.

The emphasis is on the social strategy part of the game. Getting involved in the military or political aspects and spending time with other people working on things is where the time sink comes in.

Always wondered if the US Army supplies you with free weapons?

Since I've joined I've been supplied for free with Q1's without having to work for state companies.
Talk is that that's about to change, everyone in Heli' Division has to work for a state company to get supplied but you'll be supplied with Q3 Heli's.

Not sure about Army. AB gives two different Q weapons as standard 1 if you work for the company's 1 if you don't. They also give upgraded for higher importance fights.

Apparently our idiot president has asked for an evacuation of California to AZ and surrounding states to raise the cost of attacking them.

Russia has one of the largest nest eggs in the game and is steamrolling, raising the cost of attacking Arizona is akin to those retards you see throwing rocks at tanks. This will do nothing. If any of the Misc (short of a change in military orders) evacuates to anywhere besides Florida, I will personally stab you in the face.

Edit: I'm also considering running for Congress with the sole intention of being able to impeach. Elections are the 5th and we won't be able to impeach again until the 29th, but that's at least a few days less of a retard at the controls.

So after fighting last night a few thoughts:

- The war mod has potential, but the lack of being able to heal will make it suck since you can only fight a few times a week and can't really work/train without dumping gold into it.
- When hitting a tile with a lot of players on it you need to be able to choose who you're fighting, not get 5 random people. I kept getting 5 veteran helicopters last night out of a choice of 90+ people.
- If our military doesn't get it's "tactics" (I use that very loosely) together we have around a .000000000000000001% chance of winning any important battle.

Honestly I think we had a chance to do some damage and make some noise last night in Croatia. Instead, the only synonym for our performance is water hitting the rocks.

You can get free MT's to move to Mexico and then FL from the Flying Unicorn Squadron, assuming our idiot fuking administration gave them the money, because they didn't bother to run Arm America for any fights so far. The first time I've seen that lapse for major fights since I started the game.

- Would you be willing to give up your US citizenship for a "project".
- How many votes can you deliver in an election. (ie. computer/IP at work, at your neighbors, at your parents, university, library etc.)
- Do you have any friends who you could get a favor from? (ie. someone who isn't interested in the game to join long enough to level up to voting age and vote)
- Are you a member of the US military? (I'd be asking military members to NOT participate as this could get you DD'd)

Please note that any expenses associated with the project would be covered by myself. I'll post the poll later (I'm beat and just worked a 12hr day that started at like 4am). I want to see what kind of sway the Misc could bring before I begin any type of planning.

I had originally intended to try to take a small non-neutral nation to help the US. Doing it off-site and through proxy would have allowed us to fly under the radar. (ie. Mexico it only takes around 15 votes to get a top 5 party and presidential nomination). From this we could do things like move toward South American, let Poland do so, buffer our southern border, and get Spain some MPP relief.

About 15 minutes into the research of actually trying it I decided I don't care enough to put the time in, and the Misc would likely fail anyhow so it was a waste.
