So we asked for a 'Science and Technology" subforum ... for years ... and we got a 'Gaming and Technology" subforum instead?

we never have many posts in 90% of the gaming threads made here, this section will prob be full of 1 or 2 posts threads, we just dont have the gaming base for a section like this

and we dont want to attract ppl who post in gaming sections (srs)
we have enough skinny phags in teh misc sectiona already

Why technology? that's too broad.
First question, does Sports, Science, Tech., and gaming HAVE to be bundled up into 1 section?

"science and technology" is a whole other area of interest from what this 'gaming and technology' subforum would stand for, and is what the members of this forum have been asking for.
I respectfully ask the admin to look at the reception for "science and technology" subforum to be created, and just create it and give it a chance.

ok now I want a gaming section
I mean think about it we have way more topics about gaming then science, lets give gaming its own section, we can get a bunch of new people to join bb.com and then they will buy supplements

Yes, gaming and technology just sounds less intellectual I suppose.
science and technology= computers, gaming systems, electronics in general+astronomy... and whatever other sciences may be involved.
Just having gaming and technology seems to imply that the forum section is centered around gaming and game systems.
You could just add science and be done with it, or you could break it into two more subsections: one subsection specifically for gaming, and the other for sciences.

honest feedback? What was the problem with just adding another subforum to this section? Why get rid of 2 and replace then put another one in?

+1 this makes more sense. Gaming is only a small part of the 'science and technology' discussions that will take place here.
There will be many members glad to finally see this subforum. I know Ill be posting a lot here!

Yes. 'technology and science' will cover a wide variety of subjects, including gaming, that people want to discuss with more technicality and in more depth than is capable in the main misc forum.

1. Generally glad there is a Tech+Sci subforum.
2. Totally cofnused why there are a load of XBOX 360 threads in it.
Screw gaming, seriously. They can keep their 200 page "MW2 discussion" threads in misc. Gaming has nothing to do with science and science is considerably more interesting and worthwhile a pursuit in life.

every one of us who asked for the forum specifically said not to include game or electronic stuff.
But, we get gaming and electronic stuff and now sport sectioners mad at us
