AWESOME!! There have been some stellar lightweight (165 lb) battles the past few years. Who will take it this year? Should be interesting after a stellar Hercules Super Pro-Qualifier.

And the WNBF US Cup will be held at the same show. Lots of drug-free muscle in NYC!

Dorian Yates Nutrition is the official WNBF US Cup Sponsor at the Naturalmania event.

Dorian Yates himself will be there, so athletes in attendance have an opportunity to discuss potential sponsorship possibilities.

Yates is the man but it's kind of weird him sponsoring and attending a natty show. I think it is great that he is promoting INBF/WNBF though.

No more so than Labrada, Gaspari or MHP sponsoring natural events. Even though the owners of a number of supplement companies did not compete in the drug-tested world, I believe they see the value of supporting an area of the sport that gets the most benefit for using nutritional supplements. And I also feel they do respect the natural side of bodybuilding, despite choosing not to compete in natural shows.

This is true. I always liked Dorian and respect him more now that he is promoting natural shows. Maybe it is weird to me because I think of supplement companies when I hear the other names and see mr O. when I hear Dorian Yates. I am not complaining, I appreciate the whole thing.

WNBF Pro US Cup & INBF Naturalmania -- OFFICIAL SPRAY TANNING

Hello competitors!

My name is Ana de Castro, WNBF Pro and 2008 Best Body World Champion. I am the official competition spray tanning partner of the WNBF Pro US Cup & INBF Naturalmania on September 18 at MLK High School in New York City. I hope this email finds you healthy and on track for the upcoming competition! You are just a few short weeks away from the stage!

As you begin to make your final preparations for the show, remember to book your spray tan! This year we are making it easier than ever for you by spray tanning on location at the New Yorker hotel and Martin Luther King high school.

I will be spray tanning at the Host Hotel (New Yorker) on Sept 17 and Sept 18 as well as on site at MLK on Sept 18.
Sept 17 - starting at 4pm until whenever
Sept 18 - starting at 5am until about 10ish (I will then be setting up at MLK High School)

The cost is $120 for your first 2 coats and any additional coats are only $20. CASH ONLY. Compare to NYC prices of $75 per coat at regular tanning salons! Usually figure/best body get 2 coats, bodybuilding 3-4 coats --- all based on skin tone & starting color.

If you are interested please let me know so we can book an appointment. Slots are filling up quickly since we have made this as convenient as possible for YOU.

Contact me at adc73@aol.com and please put SPRAY TAN on the subject line so I can respond quickly. Provide me with first/last name, email, & cell so I can confirm appointment with you.

I look forward to working with you! Good luck!

Ana

Man! This is the first time since 2007 that I havent done this show. It doesnt feel right :(

I bet, but you beasted it last year! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the U.S. Cup stays at this show next year.

James McGuire is heading to NYC on Wednesday to hopefully follow in our footsteps. Oh, and the middleweight champ from the Buckeye Classic the last two years, Kyron Moses, will be there as well and will be tough to beat. Hope the Ohio boys take it home!

That's right my training partner and best friend, James McGuire, won his class at the Naturalmania Nationals in NYC and earned his WNBF PRO CARD! So, we are taking things up a notch as we have some WNBF Pro stuff to do here. There is much work to be done!
